When Charlotte Valdovinos ends up going to summer camp with her friends not expecting to fall for someone when she is there

"Char!" EJ says nervously as he sees Charlotte walk into the barn. He had an idea of asking Charlotte to co-direct the show with him since he thought she'd be a little bit better than him "Can I talk to you for a moment?"
"Okay, Caswell. But make it quick" Charlotte says to EJ, which makes him drag her over into the corner of the room "Well, this isn't suspicious at all..."
"I'm having to direct the show and I want you to co-direct the show with me" EJ says, getting straight to the point "I'll do all of the hard work but you're really good at bossing people around so I thought you'd have more of an idea what to do than me and I'm not very good at telling people what to do when it comes to musicals."
"So you just want me to boss everyone around?" Charlotte asks, not really knowing exactly what EJ wants her to do.
"Yes exactly, and I'll do everything else" EJ says "So, will you help me?"
"Sure, why not?" Charlotte says with a shrug "It'll be fun... I guess."
"Thanks, Char" EJ says with a smile as he hugs the very confused girl "I owe you one" EJ tells Charlotte before he walks over to talk to Val.
"What was that about?" Gina asks Charlotte, who saw EJ hug Charlotte.
"He asked me to co-direct the show with him so he had someone who could boss people around" Charlotte says with a smile on her face.
"Well, you do love being bossy" Gina says to her friend with a laugh.
"Hey everyone, I'm Val" Charlotte and Gina hear a voice say from the stage as everyone walks over and huddles around the stage "And not too long ago, I was just like you, waiting in the wings for my chance at stardom. Then I went to college and my dreams of Broadway were instantly dashed by my intro to movement professor who said I wasn't convincing as a human being."
"Remind me never to go to college" Charlotte whispers to no one in particular.
"But now I'm a psych major and I'm your choreographer" Val says to everyone "And the director will kick off the auditions in just a moment."
"Corbin Blue, whoo!" Ashlyn shouts as Gina and Charlotte look at each other, trying not to laugh.
"Charlotte, we need to talk to Val" EJ says, pulling Charlotte away from his girlfriend as he takes her into a room where Val is before EJ explains everything to Val.
"I think I've got it" Val says to the duo "So, Corbin Bleu is only directing the show about the show and now you have to direct the actual show and you dragged Charlotte into helping direct?"
"The only ones who know are you two and Gina" EJ says nodding his head.
"What happened to Nini, the shy girl from last summer?" Val asks which makes Charlotte roll her eyes "The weird British accent when she's nervous?"
"Her ex boyfriend won her back from EJ and then broke up with said ex boyfriend a few months later" Charlotte simplifies which makes Val look confused.
"Long story" EJ says with a nervous smile.
"Look, I'll help you" Val says to EJ with a smile on her face "Like, for instance, maybe I should cast the show."
"Wait, no. That's the one thing I was excited about" EJ says to Val in a sad voice.
"Hey, I should help, I'm great at judging people" Charlotte says to Val with a smile, trying to convince Val to let her help.
"It's true, at the start of my senior year I got a list from Char saying everything that was wrong with me" EJ says, looking at Charlotte with an unimpressed look.
"Fun times" Charlotte says with a smile.
TIME SKIP BY CHARLOTTE HATING EJ IN THE FIRST SEASON
Sadly, Charlotte had not been able to convince Val to help her cast the show, so that left her to sit with EJ, acting like they were doing something while everyone was auditioning. "Oh, where are the scripts?" Kourtney asks her two directors.
"Scripts?" EJ asks nervously.
"For the scene work auditions" Gina adds on.
"We're doing a show with no script?" Carlos asks "What is this 'curb your enthusiasm'?"
"Yo, Mr and Miss Director, where do you want us to stand?" Ricky asks, raising his hand, which makes Charlotte glare at her best friend as she could tell EJ was getting very stressed.
"Everyone shut up!" Charlotte screamed as everyone kept asking questions, which made everyone instantly go silent "We do not have the scripts at this moment in time so for the scene work auditions you will be doing a dramatic reading of Let It Go. And as for your question, Richard, everyone get in a circle and you will take turns reading a line from the song until it is finished. Got it?" Charlotte asks as everyone nods "Now get in a circle!"
"Yeah, she was definitely the right choice to help you direct" Val says to EJ with a smile "Good choice."
Once they were halfway through the song for the dramatic reading, they all heard the barn door swing open, and they look over to see that it is Jet. "Sorry, auditions started over an hour ago" Maddox says to Jet as she crosses her arms.
"It's okay, everyone is welcome to try out" EJ says as Charlotte walks over to give Jet the song lyrics and she gives him an encouraging smile.
"I'm not so sure about this" Jet says to Charlotte as she hands him the lyrics.
"Don't worry about it. No one is going to judge you" Charlotte reassures him "And if anyone did, I'd verbally murder them for you."
For The First Time In Forever by Jet
"Oh my God" Charlotte says in shock after Jet is finished singing as everyone goes over to tell him how good he was, but Jet just drops the lyrics and walks out of the barn.
"I have chills" Ricky says to EJ as he rolls up his sleeve "And is Char okay?" Ricky asks, noticing that Charlotte has not moved from the position she first sat in when Jet starting singing.
