"What's that, Natsuki?" Sayori pointed at the plaster on my cheek. I shook my head and answered: "It's nothing, mind your own business."
Sayori looked a bit disappointed, but she didn't say anything.
She knew she should have said something, but who would believe her, or even do something.
"Seems like Yuri and Monika aren't here yet" Sayori noted.
But in the same second she finished her sentence, the door opened slowly and Yuri and Monika entered. They were engaged in a deep conversation. Natsuki decided to go over to the closet and choose a manga. She pulled out the manga of her choice and went to a wall of the classroom and sat down. It was more comfortable for her than a chair. She was so engrossed in her book that she didn't notice the person sitting down next to her. "Uh, uhm.." Yuri looked shyly at Natsuki, her hair twirling. "How are you..?" Natsuki flinched. She looked in Yuris dark and mysterious eyes. "What do you mean? I'm good, I've never been better!" she answered quickly. "No.. I don't believe you. What happened to your cheek..?" Yuri stroke with the back of her finger over the plaster. "I... I had an argument with my father yesterday.. don't worry."
Suddenly, Natsuki became quieter and her her loud and cheeky nature almost disappeared. Yuris gaze turned worried. It was the first time that Natsuki could really tell what's going on in Yuris mind." It's okay if you don't wanna talk about it. I don't blame you.." the purple haired smiled softly and stood up to leave. Natsuki sat there, trying to figure out what happened. She always thought Yuri was the kind of person who wouldn't ask or care about others feelings and emotions, since she struggles to express her own.
But it seemed that she was wrong.

Monika had been watching the whole scenario from afar. She was smiling. Even though they were so different, they seemed to complement each other wonderfully.

"Okay everyone! It looks like we're getting a new member soon - that's how Sayori told me - and I think it would be the best if we prepare something for them!" Sayori looked proud. Yuri was sitting on her seat with the normal expression on her face. "I would suggest that someone will bake cookies or something small. Natsuki, you said you like baking! Maybe you could make something. And Yuri, you can make tea as always."
Yuri and Natsuki nodded. "Then we'll see each other tomorrow! Hopefully with the new member, Sayori! And don't forget to write your poems!" Monika ordered.

And with that, the clubmeeting was over. On her way home, Natsuki couldn't get the scene with Yuri out of her head. She was so worried. She was caring. And her thin, soft fingers on her cheek. Natsuki caught herself smiling a bit.
What was that even?
