Han So Hee's POV

Yesterday wasn't really shocking for me. I knew that was coming. What shocked me the most is when Chaeyoung told me last night that her father wants to meet her at their house. I wonder why her  father was also in the hospital. It maybe he is  sick or someone is sick or a business meeting.

It's already seven in the evening and she's still not here. I should have asked her if I can join her so that I wouldn't be this worried knowing how bad a person his father to her. I tried to call her but it cannot be reached. I can't help myself to imagine things that might happen and it wasn't helping me not to feel worried. Why am I worried? I asked myself. Is it because I consider her my friend? That's all I can think. I kept on walking forward and backward thinking about her that I didn't hear that she already inside the room we booked.

Unnie? Are you okay? She asked.

I got startled when I hear her voice.

Oh! My! I shouted.

I look at her and surprisingly I saw bruise in her cheeks and lips busted. I widen my eyes in shocked. What happened to her?

I almost run towards her and check her face. I softly caress it.

What happened? I worriedly asked.

She hold my hand that touches her face. Hold it tight.

It's my father doing. She responded.

I can see she's angry so I didn't ask anymore.

Let me treat the wound.. I said then rush towards my room luckily I brought first aid kit.

I gently dab a cotton with disinfectant towards her wound. I can see her wince in pain.

I took the opportunity to scan her face and as expected Son Chaeyoung is really pretty. Small face.Big brown eyes.high nose.. plump kissable lips. A dimple. Mole below her lips. A perfect idol face.
I flinched when she hold my hand.

Unnie.. I think it's enough. She said smiling at me.

Geez. That smile again.

I nod and fix the things I used to treat her.

How about we put Ice on you cheeks? I suggested.

Oh! Sure. She stood up and went to check the refrigerator.

She went back in the living room holding a ice pack and beer in her other hand.

How are you Unnie? She asked me.

Why she kept on asking me when I fact she's the one who's not okay.

I'm fine.. Don't worry about me. Worry about yourself. Your face looks bad. I said as I look at her.

Really? I hope it will heal faster before we go back home. She said while opening a  can of beer.

I'm sorry that I can't ask you to join me. It's bad for your health. She said apologetically.

I find it cute tho.

It's fine. And it's not good if we are both drunk. I said.

I saw her cheeks turned red. Is she embarrassed?

I know. She said then awkwardly laugh.

Ah! Right.. Now is the right time.. She said.

Right time for? I asked.

You know.. About the friend with benefit thing. She said excitedly.

Why she's excited? She's like a kid who likes to here stories.

Well, honestly, I'm not after you or Mina. I'm after Kenji. I said and looked at her.

What about him? She asked.

He is my ex-boyfriend who dumped me almost a year now.  I said.

He dumped you? He's stupid to do that. You are pretty, kind and sexy.  She commented.

I blushed from her sudden comment.

He did! Then, after a monthly I heard she's dating Myoi Mina his childhood friend. I exclaimed.

Maybe.. Mina Unnie doesn't know about you two.. She defended her.

Later.. I hired an investigator to know the things he's up to. I said.

Like you did to me? She chuckled.

Come on! Listen! I whined.

I'm listening.. She said.

So, I knew that his family company had a debt on one of your father's company. And, to pay the debt their family ask help from Myoi. I said.

So, you are telling me that the two are forced by their parents? She asked with furrowed eyes.

That's possible! That's what I think but that night when we you know.. we met in the club.. I personally went to him. To asked him about it. I said.

Let me guess.. He said.. that she love Mina Unnie.. so, you back off? Is that right? Chaeyoung butt in..

Yeah! That's it. I mean I didn't deserve to be treated like that. He dumped me and shoo me that way. I whined at her.

So, that's why you are also in that club? She asked.

Yeah! And I saw you. I seated beside you and you are already drunk. I mean both of us. You kept on talking about Mina.. that I got irritated I kissed you. I confessed.

I saw her spill the beer she was about to drink and look at me with her eyes wide open.

You! Unnie.. You said I kissed you first. She responded.

And you kissed back. But you undressed me first Son! I defended myself.

I saw she blushed from my sudden confession.

What about the hotel pictures you showed me? She asked me.

I find it cute how she like to change the topic.

About that.. It's just a family gathering they both attended in that fancy hotel. I'm lying when I told you that you know. I planned to scare Mina with those pictures but I used it on you. I looked down.

I felt guilty knowing that I cheated  on her and blockmailed her just to accompany me.

I knew it! Mina Unnie wouldn't do that! She said smiling like an idiot.

Hey! Are you not angry to me? I lied. I said as I look at her.

No. Not really. From the beginning I know you are a good person. Instead of feeling angry, I feel happy knowing that Mina Unnie is still the same girl I fell in love. She lovingly said.

You are hopeless! I said out of nowhere.

What? So, I guess from now on we will be friends with no benefits? She said laughing and extend her hands to me.

Is she drunk or what? She's unbelievably kind and adorable.

Okay! Friends! I said as I extend my hand to reach her.
