Just as what Chaeyoung promised, she visited So Hee and her parents. She is both nervous and scared but she shrugs the idea and just brings a gift to give with the help of her best friend Tzuyu. Mr. and Mrs. Han can't help themselves to like the young idol who's really sweet and kind which is the opposite of his father. They found out that their daughter and the young idol share the same interest in arts. They also didn't miss the unusual behavior of their daughter towards Chaeyoung and they're just happy to see their daughter like that.  Chaeyoung bid her goodbye.

The next day So Hee was invited at Chaeyoung's apartment to meet the young idol parents. Mr. and Mrs. Son welcomed her warmly. They like how So Hee seems so attentive with their daughter. She's warm and kind unlike the other heiress they knew. As a matter of fact, So Hee and Chaeyoung's dad has the same interest in terms of arts making the two click with each other. Although, Chaeyoung is also interested in arts her preferences are unlikely to So Hee and his father.

Chaeyoung's apartment

Han So Hee's POV

I and Mr. Son are now inside the Mini studio beside Chaeyoung's room. We decided to paint while waiting for the food Mrs. Son and her daughter going to cook. I wanted to help but Mr. Son insisted that he wants us to paint.

Do you like my daughter? Mr. Son asked me.

I shyly nodded.

I see. Did you confess to her already? He curiously asked me.

I'm not planning to do so. I sadly said.

Why? He asked me.

Because.. I might leave her soon. I honestly answered.

Are you going somewhere? He asked me.

Uhm. The thing is I am sick. I said.

He sadly look at me.

I have stage two cancer and I'm not sure if I'll survive. I confess to him.

I didn't see that coming. He sadly said.

It's curable right? Mr. Son asked me.

Yeah. But in my case the cancer cells fastly spreads than the usual. So, the survival rate is low. I explained not looking at him.

I see. Does she know about this? He asked looking at me.

I nodded.

She knows I have a cancer but she doesn't know me having stage two. I answered.

How about treatment? He asked.

My parents decided to have it at Japan. We will be going there the day after tomorrow. I said.

I see. That's why she's been asking her mom if she can go at Japan a week after in Paris. I guess she's really attached to you. He commented.

I got flustered when Mr. Son told me that. So, she's really going to visit me there.

I'm sorry if I asked her to visit me. I said

No. Don't say sorry.. it's okay. Spending a week with her is enough for us. We can't handle her stubborness and decisiveness most of the time. He said giggling.

You know what?! We are amazed that she actually last this long being an idol. She maybe love it that much because she's holding on. He added.

What you mean, Mr. Son? I asked.

Call me, uncle or Dad. He said and wink at me.

He's playful like her.

He stopped painting.

Things were rough on her since she was a kid. I remember she used to be smart and introverted type of a kid.  At early age, she was raised and trained by his real father to perfectly fit as a heiress of Son Group.

But she's still smart and introverted as of today but I thinks she's more open and easy going.

One day her mom cannot take it anymore to see her little daughter beaten up by her own husband. She filed a divorce against him. You see every wrong move little Chaeyoungie committed there's always a punishment. I saw it myself how my cousin treated her daughter. I can't help myself to pity her. He said tears visible in his eyes.

After a year the divorce was finalized.  Chaeyoung and her mom stayed here in Korea while his father was asked by the court to stay away from them. I think he is now in America and not allowed to go back here in Korea. It took me two years to have them both and with that I disconnected myself from my relatives. He proudly said.

You mean? Being a Son? I asked.

He nodded.

It's funny how I and my wife regretted that we allowed her to be a trainee in JYPE. He said laughing.

Why is that? She's really good at it Uncle. I shyly said.

Yeah. It's just I remember the first day she told as that she and Yeonjun passed the audition as a idol trainee. Both of them was happy that we didn't have the audacity to disapprove. At first her mom and I thought that eventually Chaeyoung will quit since she's not fond of being controlled anymore and she's just there because of Yeonjun. She's a trouble maker and sometimes stubborn. We really are waiting that JYPE will kick her out because of that. What shock us more was when she lasted longer than Yeonjun and was a contestant on a survival show. Who would have thought that she debuted as an idol when she was just 16 years old?! He exclaimed.

So he's really her childhood friend?!

And, the fact that's she's the main rapper when she's quiet most of the time?! I  exclaimed.

Both of us burst out laughing.

She maybe last long because she found friends that she wanted to be and to protect. I said.

He nodded.

Yeah! She once said that she really value and love the members as a family. He said.

Sure. She does! She can do selfless things for them. I commented.

He look at me confused.

Yeah..she's selfless at times. He said.

To tell you that truth I want her to pursue arts that's why I'm going to bring her in Paris maybe she'll change her career. It's not that I don't like her as an idol. We are proud of her because of that but we just want her to do what she really wanted to do and no one will judge her and talk shit about her. It hurts us a lot. He added.

I see.. but she's built different. I mumbled.

He looked at me then laugh.

You heard?! I asked him.

That she's built different?! I guess you are right. She is! But, I'm worried if one day she'll be tired of it. He said.

It seems that you are talking something serious? Chaeyoung curiously asked.

She looked at us and walk towards me.

Did my father tell you something? You look worried. She asked me.

I shook my head.

Are you sure? Because sometimes my appa talks non sense. She reasoned out.

Yah! Son Chaeyoung! I heard you. Mr. Son called her.

Chaeyoung just giggled to his father.

After eating, I stayed inside Chaeng's room for an hour. We just talked about things and then she opened up about what happened that night in their apartment. I can't help myself to silently worry about her. She told me not to tell to her parents about his biological father doings. She even told me about Yeonjun and her worries. I wished I'm not sick so that I could stay by her side and support her. If I'm gone, I want someone to stay beside her when things get out of hand. I'm sorry Chaeng, I need to tell the truth to someone who cares for you. I need to see Momo.
