Mommy where's daddy? My daughter asked. I sighed here we go again. Baby daddy went away to work I tried to make up a reasonable lie. When will he be back? She asked. I don't sweetie he wants to surprise us. I let out a small smile thinking of him then it all went away knowing he left us.

I got pregnant my senior year of highschool, with my boyfriend of a year and 5 months. I thought we was inlove. I was inlove with him he was my everything. I told him I was pregnant the day of graduation. I thought he would be excited but he left us and went to college in a different state. The one person I thought wouldn't leave me left when I needed him the most.

Babe I can't wait till we go off to college he said the day before graduation. I just put on a fake smile. I knew I was pregnant, I had this feeling so I took multiple test and they came out positive. I didn't tell anyone yet. I was scared to tell my mother and sister but as long as I had Trey by my side I was okay. Graduation day came I was so nervous it took me forever to get ready everyone was rushing me my sister and my mother. I was going to meet Trey there. Before the ceremony started I told Trey, "when this is over I have something to tell you" I said. Okay babe he kissed me so passionately. I smiles from ear to ear we both got our diplomas walked across the stage and took a picture shaking the principles hand. After graduation we went out to eat to celebrate I was having such a good time forget that I had yo tell trey the big news. I smiled at the thought of us being a family together. After we had eating we went to my house to chill. We was in my bedroom chilling. Babe? He asked yes? I replied didn't you have something to tell me. My heart stopped , it felt like the world was just standing still in one place. I was quite for a couple minutes. It didn't seem so hard thinking about telling him but when you actually have to tell him that's a different story. I just looked at him. He grabbed me by the face so I can look him right in the eyes. You don't have to be scared to tell me anything he said. I gulped. Well....... I'm.. I'm...I'm............
There was a long pause.....pregnant. He took his hand away from my face and just starred at me. Teyana I love you he kissed me on the forehead and walked out the room. I wasn't that upset that he walked out he said he loved me maybe he need some time. One day go past, two days, three days go pass without him answering my calls he had enough time to think about this. I finally decided to go to his house.I rung the doorbell his mom came to the door . hey sweetie she said hey mama Jones. I loved her she was so nice. Is Trey here? I asked wanting to get down to the point. She looked confused No he left to go to California he said he wanted to spend his time by the college to get used to the campus and make new friends. What! I semi yelled. He left me and his unborn child.

I wanted to be a journalist writing books by now, I just had to put the on hold now. My baby girl was now 2 years old. I smiled being a single mother working hard for me and my daughter. She was God's gift to me. I had her at 18. I'm now 20 years old working for this magazine place writing articles on celebrities and giving advice.

Shay get your thumb out if your mouth I smacked her hand lightly what did mommy tell you about that. I sowry mommy. Its okay baby girl just don't do it again, now sit here and watch mickey mouse while I go make dinner. I was making chicken breast macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. I was in the checking up on my chicken breast in the oven. When there was a knock on my door. Its probably my sister or best friend they always come over unannounced. I went to the door I opened my apartment door. The person I never thought I would ever see again.

Trey? I asked surprised. My heart was pounding. My highschool sweetheart the father of my child is right here at my front door.

He looked so different he had tattoos everywhere. He have gotten taller. He look like he matured he looked really nice.
