One more chance

Chapter XI

This whole week has been going by pretty quickly. Me and Shay has been learning to adapt to others in our home. Its not that bad Shay loves having Kai around. My mom didn't mind watching Kai either since I was doing such a good deed. Me and Trey have becoming a little bit closer we now be texting each other. He supposed to be coming over to help us pack today. We leave tomorrow morning. I had to explain everything to my boss so that he can get Cierra off the schedule as well.

We all at home, Cierra in her room packing her bags and I'm doing the same. The girls are somewhere playing. Trey called and said he was outside. I got up and answered the door. I gave him a quick hug then we went into Shay room so we can start packing her stuff. He bought her some more clothes to go on the trip he spoils her like crazy. I grabbed her a couple swimming suits and her flip flops.

"All of that is not going to fit in this suitcase" I said

"Look like we need to get another one"

"No Trey put the rest of that stuff in her closet"

He sigh and did as told. A half an hour later we was done. I thought Trey was going to leave or play with Shay.

I went into my room and brung out my suitcase and I attempted to start packing. I pulled out all my shorts dresses underwear and put it on the bed. I was into folding my shorts putting them in the suitcase and Trey came burging in my room.

"May I help you?" I asked

"Thought you might need some help packing" he said I he looked on my bed and seen a thong. "And where do you think you wearing that to?" He asked

"I can wear whatever I want to wear" I said as I grabbed all of my underwear and put it in my suitcase.

Trey got comfortable and laid in my bed and cut on the tv

I looked at him and raised my eye brow like he was crazy

"Okay now you tweaking. What are you doing?"

He started laughing

Shay came running in the room. She jumped on top of her daddy.
"Daddy, Daddy can I go to the park with Kai and Cierra??"

Just then Cierra came into the room

"Hey, I was going to take Kai to the park across the street can Shay come along?" Cierra asked

"Uhh yeah, I got to finish up here anyway.... Shay be safe and go put your gym shoes on because your going to be running around"

"Okay mommy luvv you and daddy" she gave Trey a hug then she gave me one

"Love you too baby girl" Trey said

They left it was now me and Trey the first time alone in a long time.

I was sitting on the bed I was watching tv but I just started staring at Yana. Man I wasn't thinking when I left her now I want her more than anything I want to have a legit family. Hopefully I get to prove that to her over this trip, I know it won't be easily because she is so stubborn.

"You want to talk about this living situation at the hotel?" I asked

"What is there to talk about you sleeping on the couch better be lucky you in the same room as us"

"I love how you always make it about our daughter like you dont want to be around me"

"I don't" she said all nonchalant

I got out the bed and walked up to her. "You don't? Try to say it with a straight face in front of me"

"I don't" she was looking at me but wasn't looking me in my eyes.
