Corinne POV:
"Greetings from Baku," I said smiling into the camera. "I'm here in Azerbaijan, to surprise Mick and Max. I haven't been to a grand prix, since Abu Dhabi 2021. When Max won the world title. So, I'm excited to see what happens the rest of the season, first hand."
Today was Friday, Christian Horner got me a room in the same hotel as the guys and gave me a copy of their schedule.
So, I know that all the drivers are meeting for breakfast at nine. I grabbed my bag and camera and left my room. "I'm actually nervous," I got to the lobby and saw some of the team engineers walking into the restaurant.
I walked up to the door, showed the security my pass, and they okayed it. "Let's do this." I walked in and looked for the guys. In the back corner, I saw Max and Mick sitting beside each other, surrounded by the other drivers.
I smiled. "Let's do this." I walked over to their table. "Also, das ist der Wunsch, den Sie beschäftigt nennen. Zu beschäftigt, um deine beste Freundin zu sehen." (So, this is want you call busy. To busy to see you best friend.)
Everyone looked towards me. Max's eyes widened, and Mick's mouth opened. "Corinne!" Mick said, shouting up from his seat. I placed the camera down and wrapped my arms around his neck as he picked me up, spinning me around.
"Schatz. OMG what are you doing here?" (Darling)
"I wanted to see you, both of you," I said looking over at Max. "But you seem to not be excited to see me."
"I'm always happy to see you, Cori." Max said, standing up and pulling me into a hug. "How I have missed you, Lieveling." (Darling).
