Waiting for all the other Parkwood representatives to leave the room after the meeting should not have took this long. All these bald white men keep trying to speak to Mama but she's trying to politely tell them to get the fuck out. Me and uncle Ju can see her loosing patience so uncle Ju quickly jumped in and escorted the men out. Mama gave him a thankful glance.
"Thank you Julius. I swear if Adam tried to touch me again with his pale ass hands I swear I was going to go to jail" she said, rolling her eyes causing us to laugh. "Give us a minute Ju, I need to talk to Chloe" she told him. He nodded and made his way outside of the room, closing the door behind him. Mama sat down in the chair next to me. I was getting nervous. I don't know why because she's my mom but I know she's gonna ask about me and KJ. I didn't even know what we are and I get nervous thinking about it.
She looked at me, "you know I love you, right?" She asked me. I looked her a bit confused but nodded nonetheless. "So you know that you can come to me whenever you're feeling a certain way, right?" She asked. I nodded, "of course Mama" I told her. "Ok. So what's the situation with you and KJ" she said. I kept quiet, biting the inside of my cheek. "Chloe?" she said. I sighed, "nothing Mama. There is no situation." I said. She raised her eyebrow, "okay lemme try again then. Do you like KJ?" She asked. My body tensed. I tried to ignore my feelings for KJ because I didn't want to ruin our friendship. Especially after getting her back.
"I don't know" I told her, now finding her wedding ring more interesting to look at. She raised my chin, "don't do that Chloe. Do you like Akira?" She asked again a little stern. I bit my lip and nodded. She chuckled, "I just wanted to hear you say it" she smiled causing me to roll my eyes. "It's just...I don't want to loose our friendship because of my feelings for her. And I don't want it to feel like she's some kind of rebound because of diggy. And we still haven't talked about him" I said. My mom looked at me.
"One thing I know for certain, Akira loves you Chloe. Everyone and they mama knows that. So I know that no matter what way y'all relationship will change in the future, KJ will always love you. I watched her big head ass love you since y'all were in diapers" she told me with a chuckle. "I don't even know if she likes me too mommy. What if I tell her and she doesn't? I don't want to loose her" I said as tears started to fill in my eyes. Mama shook her head and grabbed my hand, "it won't hurt to try baby. Worse case scenario is she tells you she doesn't feel the same. That isn't going to change anything. KJ is gonna be ten toes down for you no matter what" she told me. I took a deep breath and nodded knowing she was right.
After I calmed down, we ended up going home so I can see everyone.

"Have you talk to KJ today?" TT Solo asked me. We were all currently sitting together in the living room. I shook my head, "not after she dropped me off to the meeting. I texted her a few hours ago but she hasn't responded" I told her. "Maybe she got busy. Being a lawyer is very demanding" Halle told me as she ran her hands through my locs. I looked up at her from my spot on her lap and smiled. "Maybe" I said.
It was a little weird for KJ to not respond to any of my text messages. She would usually reply in an instant no matter how busy she would be. But maybe Halle was right. She could be hella busy right now so I'm not gonna sweat anything.
Halle gasped and sat up nearly throwing my head off her lap, "halle what the hell!" I quickly sat up with her. "I'm sorry sis. I just remembered something. Why did one of Diggy's brother text me yesterday?" She asked. Everyone look at her, "which one? You know that boy got like 10 siblings" TT Kelly asked causing everyone to chuckle. "JoJo. He was all in my DM's talking bout tell yo sister to- excuse my French grandma- get her bitch and to stay off his little brothers top" she told me. I rolled my eyes. "Who he calling a bitch?" TT solo asked. "Probably KJ. He's probably still whining about when she threatened him" I said.
I don't know why his older brother is hitting up my little sister. I haven't even spoken to Diggy since he came to the cookout so I have no clue why he is still stuck on this. And to get my bitch? Akira hasn't even done nothing to him as far as I'm concerned. She told me she was going to handle him but I never asked what she was actually going to do.
I've learned to never ask questions whenever she said she was gonna handle something. I've also learned to never fight her when she says someone is done. I never win in those arguments.
"He still bothering you?" Jules asked me. I shook my head, "his fans are but I'm sure he's pushing them to do so since he doesn't want to do it himself. I'm not worried about him though. The block button has became my best friend over the last two weeks so I'm chilling." I said causing Halle to high-five me. "That's right big sis. Don't pay them no mind" she said causing me to chuckle.
Later that night, I decided to spend the night at my parents. When I was all tucked into bed, I checked my phone one last time to see if Akira even seen my message which she hasn't. I sighed. I hope she was okay.
