The Treehouse served as a secondary setting during Seasons 3 through 6 of Barney & Friends. It was located outside of the School and next to the playground. But now it serves as a treehouse in barney's backyard and just like the school it takes inspiration of seasons 3 through 6 a day in the park with barney and even a parody treehouse from Steven universe psa about anti-racism that did a parody of barney. Now it doesn't mean there won't be a treehouse at the school but the treehouse we know from the school will now be at barney's house.
In its first iteration, the Treehouse was smaller, and the path of footsteps leading up to it led to the right.
In Seasons 4-6, the Treehouse was renovated. A large round table and a ship wheel were added, as well as benches that faced the outside deck. In addition, a lookout with stairs and a slide that connects the aforementioned lookout to the back of the Treehouse were incorporated.
