Chapter 4

2 months later..
"Ahhh!!!" Sonic yells as he charges at Egghead. You may think 'oh nothing has changed', well think again. He charges at egghead and he misses. Sonic the hedgehog never misses. At least that was true up until about two weeks ago. (weeks ago!🎵👌🏾love that song lol). Everyone and noticed something was off about Sonic. And if they didn't they caught on real quick when he started losing battles.
2 weeks ago..
Smash! Wham! Oomph! Those were the only noises you could hear at the moment. It was a regular day in the neighborhood. Sonic was beating Egghead sh!tless, but he was doing a better job at it if it were even possible. Lately Sonic had been more focused on things he couldn't really focus on before since he no longer had to constantly look over his shoulder to make sure no one would attack him with kisses, or hugs or a big ass 'BE MINE' card. So yeah, Sonic was doin just fine with a certain pink hedgehog less to worry about. Or so he thought. On that particular day it just so happened that Amy and Bryce would walk out of "their" special little ice cream shop hand in hand while Sonic was battling Egghead and winning, as usual. He glanced in their direction not thinking much about it until a surge of longing shot thru him causing him to hesitate mid punch. That was a mistake. Egghead then took the opportunity to give Sonic an uppercut he'd probably never forget. It was then Sonic who landed with an oomph but he immediately got back up.
"What's the matter Sonic?" Egghead sneered "Cat got your tongue?" Sonic then charged at him and thru clenched teeth gave him a left hook that would most likely leave him with a broken jaw to deal with later. Sonic then, unfortunately for him, began to hear the giggles of his former obsessor and turned to to see her laughing whilst Bryce picked her up piggy back style. He found himself getting punched in the face again after the second surge of longing came and gone.
"Is Sonic the hedgehog sad and missing his girlfriend? Awww, how pathetic." Egghead mocked Sonic, whilst punching him repeatedly, but that was just the start of much more mocking and losing to come. Yep, he was doing just fine.
**End flashback**

Amy was doing just as fine as well. She and Bryce had gotten impossibly closer, they even went on double dates with Blaze and Silver, whenever they were together that is. Even a triple date when Rouge and Shadow decided to tag along. They were currently in her room on her bed kissing when they should've been studying for the beginning of the school year exams. Ok, I may have underestimated that a bit. Lately, Bryce had been a lot more touchy feely. There had been one time-ok maybe a few- times when he would accidentally touch her butt or he would slightly grind against her during a make out session, and though Amy didn't think much about it at the time accept blush or moan a bit she didn't realize that she should've put her foot down a long time ago. Anywho, they were currently on her bed "studying for exams" by making out. Bryce was propped up on his elbows above her with his tongue exploring every inch of her mouth as she moaned slightly and tugged at his hair.
"Ok.. maybe we should.. study a bit now" Amy said slightly pulling away. Bryce looked at her, and she swore she saw hunger in his eyes but she must have been imagining it. He knew she wasn't ready for sex. She smirked at his pouty lips.
"Aww but this.. is so much.. more fun." he replied whilst leaning down and kissing her neck with each pause. She couldn't resist a moan there but she had to draw the line, her parents would kill her if she failed that test!
"Come on baby, I really need to pass this test," she whined while giving him a pouty face of her own..
"Ugh, fine but just one more" he said whilst dipping his head down and giving her a wet one and an ass grab. She gasped suddenly and pushed him off of her. He looked at her like she done grown another head(like she was crazy).
"What'd you do that for?" he inquired.
"You know why." she replied slightly narrowing her eyes.
"Whatever, I need some air." was his reply as he got off the bed and out the door. She rolled her eyes at his childish behavior.
Back outside Bryce had to make a phone call.
"She still ain't give it up yet, woow. " came the feminine voice on the other end of the phone "well come over here baby and I'll give you a taste of what you been missin." Sally continued seductively.
"Yeah bae I'll be over there in 10, let me get rid of pinkie right quick". With that he hurried back up to her room. "Hey bae I gotta go take care of some dumb sh!t with my dad, I'll see yah tomorrow at school though."
"Ok bye." was her reply as he kissed her cheek and left for Sally's faster than the eye could see. Amy simply continued studying without a care in the world.
Sonic, on the other, hand had all the cares in the world. What the f#ck is wrong with me? He repeatedly asked himself. To say he felt sh!tty was an understatement. He felt useless, like his purpose in the world had vanished into thin air. The people of the town hadn't done anything to make him feel any better. But why would they? Because of him, their money was stolen from the town bank, and who knows how long it'll be until Egghead decides to just take over our town? Not much longer Sonic thought bitterly whilst driving to the party Tails invited him to as an attempt to cheer him up. He didn't even bother running out of fear that townsfolk would stop him along the way and make him feel even sh!tier, if that's even possible. He immediately regretted even pulling up to the place when he saw the amount of people there, and he coulda swore he saw a certain pink hedgehog. Just the thought of her had him baffled. He's supposed to hate her for years of torment, yet he doesn't. He even had the nerve to almost miss her. Oh man I'm screwed Sonic thought before getting out the car before he could decide against it. He was on his way thru the front door when a fist came pummeling down and collided with the side of his head.
