Chapter 2

"That little price of sh!t!" Blaze screamed angrily next to a crying Amy as she stood up off of her bed and began pacing around her bedroom." How dare he turn you down like that?!"

"Well-" Amy began, but was abruptly cut off once again by another one of Blaze's famous rants. The purple cat was famous for doing these types of things. Especially when it had something to do with Sonic hurting Amy's feelings, and because she was an overprotective friend. So this kind of thing happened pretty often.

"Next time I see him I'll rip his eyes out and shove them down his throat SO HE CAN SEE ME TEAR HIS-!"

"Girl!" Amy stood up still sniffling putting her hands on her best friend's shoulders, "Calm down. Just because you and Silver broke up again doesn't mean that you can take it all out on Sonic. And it's not like this is the first time he's rejected me.. " She then automatically began to cry harder again. Blaze's features softened as she comforted Amy.

"It's ok Ames, maybe he'll come to your party after all."

"I sure hope so," was all Amy said sighing into Blaze's hold.

Two days later, on Saturday at the party..

There's at least 100 people in Amy's house, it's not like her house can't fit them all anyway. Music's blaring, strobe lights are flashing, there's plenty of snacks and drinks, nothing alcoholic of course. Her parents may not be home as often as they should but they still wouldn't allow it.

Amy is hanging out by one of her her mini bars with Blaze, as well as her not as close friend Rouge who was currently in a heated make out session with her boyfriend Shadow.

"Pleeeaasssseee, get a room," whined Blaze rolling her eyes.

"Oh don't hate because your little relationship didn't work out," replied Rouge only slightly pulling away from Shadow.

"Listen bitch, you don't know sh!it about what happened between me and Silver," Blaze said through gritted teeth walking toward Rouge with her fists balled.

"Guys come on, it's my party can't we all just get along and have fun?" Amy interrupted before things got out of hand. She got a 'fine' and a 'whatever' in response. "Thanks guys, now who wants to dance?" Blaze immediately perked up and Rouge stopped her make out session to drag Shadow to the dance floor. They danced and laughed and sang all night long, but it wasn't until Rouge and Shadow disappeared to go make out (or do other things) and that Silver showed up and apologized to Blaze(who turned to putty in his arm) that Amy realized that she was basically all alone(well not really with all of the people at her party). She sighed and tried to be happy for her friends but she just couldn't get rid the emptiness and sadness in the pit of her stomach. Tears threatened to spill and almost did until he showed up. He was a hedgehog with green fur spiked all over his head wearing a leather jacket and jeans. He did a double take when he caught sight of Amy sitting all alone watching everybody else dance.

"Hey," he said sitting down next to her, giving her his undivided attention. Coincidentally the song On My Phone by Jack Miz began to play. (it's from the club scene of joyful noise if you've never heard of it, it's a really good song!;)). It practically set the mood of what was happening now.

"I love this song!" They both say simultaneously, and they both laugh. All emptiness and sadness Amy felt about Sonic not showing up and being alone began to disappear.

She found out his name was Bryce, and that he was new to this town. Also that he was strolling by and happened to hear music, so he decided to stop by.

"So do you wanna dance?" He asked standing up and holding out his hand expectantly.

"Sure," Amy replied. Without hesitation she was swept off her feet and led to the dance floor. They laughed and danced for the rest of the night as well as getting to know each other better. She even had more fun than when she was with her friends. Much too soon for them, the party had to end. " I had a really good time," Amy said to Bryce still holding his hand when it came time for him to leave.

"Me too," Bryce answered. Then suddenly, in one swift move his lips were moving around on hers. He pulled away and smiled at her, she smiled back. "So I'll see you soon?" He asked more than telling her, slipping his number into her pocket.

"Definitely," she answered pulling him into another kiss, then separating to let him actually go through the door back it his house. She sighed happily, turned around, and headed to her room. She would have the butlers clean up the mess tomorrow.

Now she would have to face another problem tomorrow morning, telling Sonic that she would officially stop harassing him, like she had been planning for months but now decided was the perfect time to tell him since he dissed her party and all.
