*Just to remind you, Marco will die because (Y/n) doesn't know that Annie, Reiner or Bertholdt are Titan shifters.

The plan was laid out as everyone knew their assignments. Eren was to transform as a titan, lift the boulder and seal the gate. Hopefully this won't require many people dying. (Y/n)'s mission was to protect as many people as possible, which should be easy enough.

"It seems like we're all here" Pixis said, looking at Ian, Mitabi, and Rico, "You have one mission! Act as Eren Yeager and (Y/n) (L/n)'s guards-" He was cut off by (Y/n).

"I don't need protecting. You guys worry about Eren instead. He'll need the help" (Y/n) passed them, walking towards Eren who needed help preparing.

Pixis blinked, "......Well then.....protect Eren Yeager and eliminate any and all risks that prevent come along the way! This is the most dangerous and difficult mission we have! It is not an exaggeration whe I say the fate of mankind rests upon your shoulders!"

"Commander, may I ask something?" Rico asked

"What is it?" Pixis asked, drinking from his flask

"Are you sure he is truly capable of this?" Rico hesitantly asked, looking away unsure.

Ian looked at her, "Enough, Rico. We should at least give him a chance!"

Rico frowned, "We can't bet this mission on a chance! We have to be certain he can do this!" She argued

"I agree," Mitabi tells Pixis, "Commander, this plan relies on Eren Yeager! If he's not capable, many soldiers will die risking their lives for the this!" Pixis twisted his beard in contemplation and sighed, "It is concerning, but are you satisfied with losing to the titans? I, for one, am not. I despise losing to anything, but if we were to argue, I've also lost multiple times as well!" Pixis chuckled

The Captains looked at each other and nodded in agreement. They don't want to lose to the titans. Not when they lost so much already. A soldier runs up to them, panting, "Commander, it's almost time to execute the plan!"

"Understood! Ian Dietrich, Rico Brzenska, Mitabi Jarnach! You three have proven that you are elites in the Garrison! The future of mankind depends on you!" Pixis tells them. They salute, "Sir!"

"(L/n)! You will be placed in the same squad as you were!" Pixis said. (Y/n) nodded and walked to her squad. Makita smiled cheerily at her, "(Y/n)!"

Mobira smiled at the petite girl, "Long time no see!" He nudged her, to which she smirked. She glanced at Esther who gave her a nod. Ivan smiled shakily, looking at the swarm of titan that were being distracted by some soldiers.

"Did you hear? Apparently that boy will turn into a titan and cover the hole! I also heard that some girl, who's a witch, will help too! Did you guys get to see her?" Makita asked excitedly. The others shook their heads, (Y/n) rolled her eyes at the name they decided to call her. She isn't a witch.

"All squads in position!"

All squads sprang into action. (Y/n) and her squad jumped off the wall, firing her ODM gear, she grappled onto building, running across the rooftops, she noticed her squad members trying to copy her as well, but failed. She shook her head, focusing on the mission. Firing another hook, she swung around a building and landed on top another, near the boulder. Rico paused for a moment and shot a green flare into the sky; the plan was in motion.

Eren got near the boulder and bit his hand. Lightning struck. Eren has transformed into a titan, with a roar. Everyone waited for him to lift the boulder as (Y/n)'s gut was clenching, something was wrong. Suddenly, Eren turned and swung his fist at Mikasa.
