We all got up early ish to take kie to the wreck for her shift. We all got ready and I hoped to see my dad but he had already left by the time I had woken up.

We took the Twinkie and drove over. We had all been sitting for a little as kie worked when I saw a familiar face walk in.

"Well look who showed up" I hear JJ say as I stand up rushing over to hug John b.

"I'm so glad your okay" I say to him "but I'm still pissed at you" I say completely changing my mood

"Why?" He asked sounding confused

"Cause your a fucking liar" I say harshly at him

But before he could respond pope started to talk to him and check up on him. We got to talking and he started saying that he was for some reason he's staying at tanny hill. I mean what the actual fuck.

"I'm sorry your staying where?" I ask upset

"Tanny hill" he restated
"So your living with Sarah Cameron" kie bit back as she brought drinks over to the boys and I

"Okay look the only reason I'm living there is because her dad bailed me out alright. It's way better than foster care which by the way is where I was about to go if ward didn't-" John b said defending himself

"Hey so do you like have a membership to the clubs now?" Pope asked interrupting him

"I don't know pope" John b said back

"What about those golf carts they drive around? You get one of them?" JJ asked

"Does it come with a sweater vest, or do you have to buy one on your own?" Pope continued

"Look you promised" kie said changing the mood "you said you weren't with her"

"Bro just own it, she got you" JJ said

"Look if you wanna hang out with her that's fine, but I'm letting you know right now that I'm not doing anything with Sarah" kie said

"Yeah ditto on that" I say

"Do you guys see her here? No right okay a little focus would be fantastic" John b said shutting all of us up

"We've got the map right?" John b asked

"It's all out of whack cause the guy was ganja'd when he drew it" JJ added as pope looked at the map

"It's cause the coast changed" I say back

"So we just have to look for landmarks that haven't changed" pope said

"What about the old forts?" John b asked
"Battery jasper" kie said as pope pointed to a spot on the map.

Soon we left and took the Twinkie to try and figure this out. We stood in a field that was high up and overlooked a part of kidare county.

"We're in battery right here" pope says pointing to the map again. "So if this is parcel 9 then it's somewhere northeast of here" he continued referring back to the map.

"Somewhere over there" kie pointed out into the distance

"Over there? Guys that's not tanny hill that's a subdivision" JJ said

"Tanny hill plantation was the entire island. It got sold into smaller pieces over time" John b said back

"So we're just looking for an old stone wall" pope said

We hopped back into the Twinkie driving around trying to find this wall.

"Okay so the road should split up here" pope said sitting in the passenger seat.
