(𝗬/𝗻) 𝗣𝗼𝘃

"You brought humans here?!" The really tall robot says while bending down to look at me and Noah closer. For some reason the voice sounds oddly familiar but I can't quite place it.

"Optimus, hey! Lookin' good, man! Wait a second, are those new rims?" Mirage says still in his happy go lucky manner even though the big man doesn't sound too happy.

"You were told to stay hidden!" The big man says.

"Right, right. Crazy coincidence. When you called all Optimus-like, "Autobots, Roll Out!", these guys were already in the car! But they're cool, so it's cool, cool?" Mirage says trying to defend himself for bringing us here. Which I dont think is working too well.

I now understand why the big man's voice is so familiar though. He's the voice we heard through the radio in the garage. It's also the voice Mirage put on when he was rambling when we first arrived. Not gonna lie, Mirage does a pretty damn good impression of him too.

The big man reaches down and picks up Noah in one hand and me in the other.

"Not cool." He says bringing us closer to his face.

"Yo! Hey! Put me down!" I say wiggling around and kicking my feet trying to get out of his grip but to no avail.

"Who are you, humans?" He says after his mouth cover moves

"We're nobodies, we ain't even see nothin'. we not even seeing anything right now. Right (Y/n)?" Noah says while closing his eyes.

"Yea, matter of fact I don't even know what you're talking about right now. See what?" I say looking around to the walls and raising my hands to rest on my head.

"Arcee." Big man says while moving us towards the lady robot. She raises her finger to her head and a light comes out and shines onto Noah.

" Private Noah Diaz. U.S. Army. Multiple commendations. A wizard with electronics. Hmm, he's a soldier." She says, then moves and shines the light onto me

"(Y/n) Oquendo. College student studying nursing. Works at Tony's Pizza. Is currently suspended for assaulting a customer? That's ... interesting" She says, turning her light off after she's done talking. The entire time I'm sitting here trying to comprehend what's going on, once again. I would say this night couldn't get any weirder but it probably could.

"He does not look like a soldier. Though she seems like she fits the part." Big man says moving away from her.

"What exactly is that supposed to mean?" I say lifting my eyebrow and crossing my arms. Who is he to judge me? He doesn't even know the full story. If  he wasn't able to crush me in a matter of seconds I definitely would have called him some bad words.

"Right, I mean, you're looking pretty rough yourself." Noah says looking up at him.

Mirage laughs at Noah's remark but then covers it up as if he was clearing his throat when Optimax, I think his name is looking at him.

"Sorry, sir." He says

"Noah, don't say things like that, you're gonna make him mad." I scold him. This dude is literally holding our lives in his hand, and Noah wants to insult him? He already seems like he doesn't like humans all that much, no need to push his buttons.

"You're the last person I expected to care about making someone mad." Noah scoffs

"Will you just shut up" I tell him.

"I will deal with your mistake later." Optimax says as he puts me and Noah on a really high platform

"Okay, the energy surge we felt was in the 4000th yottahertz range, which is undetectable to humans. I've reconstructed the source from the energy echoes." I hear Arcee say but I tune her out as I look at Noah
