According to multiple pregnancy tests taken at the clinic, you've discovered that you are pregnant.
2 weeks to be exact.
You reveal the news to the only potential father to be.
Tremaine, your boyfriend of 1 year.
He looks a mix between shocked and disappointed.
He's not ready to be a father and you don't know the closest thing to being a mother.
He demands an abortion but you're not killing this baby.
He gets up and pushes the chair and knocks over the table.
He's barely had the taste of life.
A kid can only ruin his life and hold him back.
Tremaine is your boyfriend and he's the only person to have fathered this off-spring.
But you're both so young.
He's 17 and you're 16.
What are you going to do?
You've cried for days contemplating your future with a baby.
You couldn't ever imagine conceiving and holding another human being inside of you.
You're both in the 11th grade stuck in high school for another year.
You're not even sure if you are going to graduate and receive a diploma at this rate.
You're scared to share the news with your parents.
And as you've imagined, they are no where near ecstatic for the new addition.
What are you going to do with this baby?
How are you supposed to raise this baby with no source of income?
And don't you need a high school diploma?
Recently, you were kicked out of your parents home and now you're living with Tremaine and his relatives.
His mother April Tucker is gracious enough to take you in.
Sure his mom is disappointed, but she knows the streets are nowhere to be roaming around.
But she isn't going to let anyone skate freely.
You're now three months into pregnancy and times a'ticking.
Tremaine's mom made her oldest son get a job, asap.
He currently works at a Kroger grocery store where he stacks canned goods, bags items and pushes carts.
His salary's not a whole lot, but at least it's something.
