Swinging through the city Jayden was on his way to see Doctor Conners to ask some questions that he has from the lizard creature. Entering the alley way he changed directions into his regular clothes and walked into Oscorp and went straight to where Conners was. Entering the lab he sees that everyone was gone this confused him for a second but thought nothing about. Walking around the lab he started to look for anything that could possibly help him track down that creature until he was startled by the man himself.
Dr. Conners: you know its not nice to snoop around.
Jayden: *jumps* Dr. Conners! Hey I was looking for you where everybody else?
Dr. Conners: I gave everyone the day off now if you excuse me.
Jayden: wait I have a question.
Dr. Conners: ok go ahead ask the question.
Jayden: how would a predator track a reptile?
Dr. Conners oh they don't you see most Reptiles are at the top of their respective food chain.
Jayden: right but there has to be a way to track them right like some sort of weakness.
Dr. Conners: what's with the sudden interest in the Cold blooded Jayden?
Jayden: well I have a biology project on any animal species and I choose the reptiles that's why I'm asking.
Dr. Conners: hmm yes I see well did you know there's a new species running around New York? I heard its strong, fast, I bet it would give Spider-Man and tat new spider some trouble.
Jayden: *nervous* yeah I guess but are you ok Doc? You seem a bit off.
Dr. Conners: oh yes Jayden I never felt better now if you excuse me I have things that I have to do.
Jayden: uhh ok Doc.
Dr. Conners: don't worry Jayden wonderful things are coming very wonderful things.
Doctor Conners would grab his briefcase along with other things and walked out this made Jayden confused then he heard a low growled walking towards the sound he looks around the corner to see a giant greed mouse. As he look closer he sees that the mouse was eating another mouse thats when it hits him those two mouse were apart of their testing of the serum then he looked back to where Doctor Conners left.
Jayden: could that lizard creature could've been Doc? No that couldnt have been right? I better check in with his family just in case.
Conners Residence 7:26 pm
Jayden was at the front door of the Conners house in queens he was thinking if he should knock or not but he ultimately decided to just knock on it. After a couple of seconds the door opened up to reveal a beautiful blond female wearing an apron this was Martha Conners the wife of Curtis Conners.
Martha: *smiles* hey Jayden how are you doing today?
Jayden: hey Mrs. Conners I just came by to talk to you about something.
Martha: oh? Ok well come in Billy been wanting to see you for a while now.
Jayden: thank you and I been looking forward to see him again as well.
The two would walked to the dining room area where Jayden would take a seat at the table and Martha went into the kitchen.
Martha: would you like something to drink Jayden?
Jayden: uh yeah some water would be nice please.
Martha would walk back to the table with a cup of water and handed it to him which he gratefully takes in his hands.
