It was raining when I was walking down the streets of London, it was getting dark and I was walking alone, "Mother's going to upset of I'm home on time" I thought to myself, ever since I was a little girl my mother has been overprotective of me and my siblings, when I was 5 my father died because of he was murdered and my mother didn't mention anything else to me and she cried when anyone would bring that up, I got to my house and opened the door and stepped in and I smelled smoke from the fireplace, I looked in the sitting room and there was my twin sister Gwen sewing something and stopped when she saw me, "Rosalie where have you been, Do you know what time time it is" she asked in a concerning tone, she walked over to me and hugged me a little bit while she was hugging me I heard footsteps and my mother walked in, "Rosalie Margret Foxworth where have you been" she asked in her usual concerning tone and before I was going to answer our brother Thomas came bursting in, "There's been another murder tonight" he said and he had a little stressful look on his face, mother looked at him "What happened" she asked hugging me a little tightly, Thomas started speaking again,"a woman was found murdered in an Alleyway and she was sexual assaulted and she was stabbed alot," and he walked out of the room and he headed upstairs to his room, mother looked at me and said "This is why you need to be careful about going out at night and you need to be escorted by a man", (I hate it when she brings up men), ever since I turned 20 she's been wanting me to be with the perfect man and get married and she thinks that if i meet the perfect man he will provide Alot for me, I wanna find a man on my own, mother had let go of me, "Hows Mr Utterson" she asked, I looked at her "He's doing quite well" I replied,
Gabriel Utterson is an interesting man that I have ever met, I'm his secretary and he treats me well and pays me well,he's in his early 30'S and he's a lawyer,
The clock read 11:30pm and mother yawned a little, she walked off to her room, I looked at Gwen and looked at me, "You know there's been alot of murders lately" she said, the way she spoke was a deafen tone, she got up and walked off to her room, I felt tired and walked up the stairs to the 3rd floor to where my room is, I opened my bedroom door and closed it when I got inside,I changed into my nightgown and while I was changing I thought about what Thomas said about the murder that occurred this evening, and I started thinking about the killer, and if the killer who killed tonight was the same killer who killed the other women, I felt like someone was watching me and I looked out the window and saw nobody, I closed the curtains and got into bed and And covered myself with my blanket and I drifted off to sleep, while I was sleeping I had a dream that I was walking home in a very very dark alleyway and I saw a shadowy figure behind me and I couldn't see the face and before I can say anything the man grabbed me and stabbed me and when I woke up I was breathing heavily was and sweat was. streaming down my face a little, I looked at my clock and it was 12:00 a.m. And I heard church bells off in the distance and after a few moments I calmed down and I laid back down and I fell asleep again.
