the man opened the door slightly and he looked to be in his mid-30s he was wearing a white dress shirt with a lab coat and he had glasses, " Dr Henry Jekyll?" I asked while clutching the documents towards me, he looks at me with a concerned eye and said "Yes I am, who are you" his tone of voice sounded like was depressed or very nervous about something, he invited me inside and inside his home it felt welcoming and smelt of lavender, I noticed that there was a huge staircase and i gazed up the stairs and I swear i saw a shadow of a man on the second floor, i look back at Dr Jekyll and he signals me to follow him, he brings me to the parlor and we both sit down, "what can i help you with miss" he asks while pouring us some tea, I nodded  I looked at him " my name is Rosalie Foxworth and I'm with Mr Utterson" I said while handing him the documents, while he was looking at the documents I sat there quietly thinking about something, I looked down the hallway a little bit and I saw a room with a door closed and he noticed that I was looking at the door, he stood up and looked at me " I see that you're looking down the hallway and you are looking at a door", I looked at him and nodded a little and he signaled me to follow him and let me down the hallway and he unlocked to the door and led me to the room and he turned on the light and I looked around and it was a Laboratory. I was impressed and I looked around I feel amazed at that very moment, " you like my laboratory don't you" I heard Dr Jekyll asking me and i looked at him "i love it very much" I said with a smile, suddenly out of nowhere we heard a loud sound from upstairs and Dr Jekyll looks at me and says " Miss Rosalie I would hate to do this to you but I would have to ask you to leave please" and without thinking I agreed to leave and walked out of the room and headed out the door, " that was rather odd" I thought to myself while walking down the steps and onto the street. I started to thinking about what just happened inside the house and I started thinking about the man I saw one of the floors was he a butler or was he someone who is working for him, after work I decided to go to the red rat and when I walked in there wasn't a lot of people like they're usually is, "ROSALIE!!" I heard somebody Shout and I look over my shoulder and there was Jackie, Jackie O'Leary and I have been friends since we were five, her mother had owned the Red rat and her mother was like a second mother to me she was nice and kind she would always let me come in for free and she knew how a little strict my mother was, Jackie ran up to me and hugs me and I hug her back smiling, "How are ye lass" she asked to me while pulling back from the hug a little, I look at her with a smile and I answered her "im doing fine, I just got out of work and I met this man", she looks at me with the smirk and she goes " a man eh, Rosalie's in love~" she says it in a joking way, Jackie has always been the joking type she's always thinking that whenever I meet a man he's going to be the perfect one for me, at least for me she just jokes about me finding a man unlike my mother who wants me to marry a man who could protect me or just have enough money to support me, I look at Jackie and I gave her a " knock it off" look and she looks at me " sorry if you said you met a man I just thought", I roll my eyes a little bit and she sits down with me " so tell me about the man that you met", I turned to her " well the man I met was an interesting man he had a laboratory and he was actually quite nice", Jackie seemed amused "so whats the fellas name" she asked to really interested, I told her the name and her face lit up, " you met Dr Jekyll, yeah I heard many stories from a lot of people", I looked at her and I curious way "are the stories good or bad" I asked and Jackie look at me astonished and she spoke again "well the story's are odd and strange and have twists" and i suddenly remembered the figure that was on the second floor of Dr Jekyll's Estate, "Jackie i saw a figure while i was there" i said and my voice sounded slightly scared, she felt my hand and she looked at me, "that must be his companion that everyone's talking about", I look at her with a little bit confused and i didnt know what to say, i was about to ask another question and suddenly the door opens suddenly and a man with a bird mask (Plauge doctor) comes walking in and everything goes silent, Jackie sees the fellow wearing the bird mask and she whispers "he's back" she walks off suddenly, I look at the person with the bird mask and he dressed like he was a Rich gentleman and he wore the bird and under the bird mask there was a hooded mask underneath and he was wearing a hat, I didn't know what to say, I got up and walked out of the red rat,

Author's Note: hello there people of the internet, so I wanna say sorry that this chapter took so long I was busy with writing another story, I will keep updating this story, it will take a while, Im going to be working on chapter 4 later today
