Sanemi woke up by the intense coughing attack he heard. He went to [ your name ]'s side and patted her back while she was coughing covering her mouth. ( the kids slept in their own room together because they are 1 now )

" Are you okay ?! " he asked worried. He saw liquid come out of her mouth but didn't know what color it was because it was pitch black. He also didn't try to cause much ruckus because the kids are asleep.

" I'm fine.. " she whispered before blacking out in his arms. He called for muichiro and yuko to come and watch the kids while he took [ your name ] to the butterfly estate. Yuko was worried so she came along with him, leaving muichiro with the kids.

Both sanemi and yuko were worried for her.

Shinobu came out of the room where [ your name ] was resting. She looked at sanemi who was pacing back and forth. He noticed her presence and stood in front of her. " Shinazugawa-san..I'm sorry to inform you this but..[ your name ]-chan is ill " she sighed.

Sanemis eyes widened. He looked back at yuko was sleeping peacefully in the chairs. He looked at shinobu again. " What.. " he whispered. How come he never knew [ your name ] was sick ? She never mentioned it before. Did she not want him to know ? " Is there a cure ? " he asked one of his thoughts. He had to ask her, he didn't want to lose his wife already.

They still had way more to go.

" I don't know. I will send a message to tamayo-san, let's see what she says. But for now, let her rest " she said. Sanemi nodded and went inside the room. He calmed down a little bit, knowing that tamayo was going to come and help his wife. For some reason after the battle he had huge amount of trust in her. Even though she's a demon, which he never thought he would be able to feel towards a demon.

Past sanemi would've went nuts and had killed her already.

Sanemi walked in and saw [ your name ] fully laying down. Even though she was pale and had dark eye bags under her eyes, her lips were still pink-tinted like always. She looked at him and weakly smiled.

" Sa..ne..mi.. " she said between her coughs. A little bit of blood coming out. Sanemi had a worried expression and sat next to her, gently grabbing her hand and caressing it with his thumb.

" Why ? Why didn't you tell me ? " He looked down and whispered. Not wanting [ your name ] to see him in the eyes. She could hear his voice crack. ( 💀 ) She sighed and closed her eyes, coughing more. " Sanemi.. I- "

" Why didn't you tell me you were fucking sick ?! " he  raised his voice. [ your name ] slightly jumped a little and her eyes widened. He never yelled at her before so it took her by surprise. Of course sanemi wasn't mad at her, he was mad at himself.

Because he didn't know how long [ your name ] has been suffering in the inside all this time.

" Since when " he said still looking down.
[ your name ] knew what he meant so she sighed and coughed again before speaking. " Eighteen.. "

" Why didn't you say anything ? " he looked at her with a worried look. He came closer to her and kissed her forehead before sitting down next to her once again. " Why "

" Because I didn't want you guys to worry about me..but now it has been acting up pretty recently. Like it's getting worse.. " she whispered out. Sanemi just sighed and place his forehead along with hers. Tears were forming in [ your name ]'s eyes.

" It's okay..I'm here " he whispered.

" I will find you a cure [ your name ] "

" I received your message shinobu, What is the problem ? " tamayo asked shinobu. She arrived at her office while yushiro gave [ your name ] a simple check. ( yushiro didn't want to be in the same room as shinobu, neither did she. They hate each other if y'all didn't know 😘 )

The pillars heard about [ your name ] being sick so the ones far away ( ish ) came to visit the used to be butterfly estate. Now it's called the butterfly infirmary. ( shinobu did hire more nurses ! )

Some of them knew who they were and the others simply didn't care ( not in a rude way ) because they saw how their boss talks with them like they are
' friends ' so they guessed nothing wrong of it.

" How is she yushiro ? " tamayo asked with concern in her voice. Yushiro came in the room after checking [ your naming ]. He shook his head and sighed.

" Bad. There's no need to search for a cure. The illness already got her whole body. She doesn't have much left.. " he whispered out the last part. He didn't want to sound rude, but he was right. What's the point. Tamayo and shinobus eyes widened.
[ your name ] didn't have much to live ?

" What do you mean yushiro-san ? Tamayo-san ? " shinobu asked. She was concerned. How was she going to explain the others the news. Especially sanemi and yuko. How are they going to react ?

" Well since yushiro already have her a check, there's no reason to check again. I'm so sorry shinobu..but I don't think we can do anything about it.. " tamayo looked at shinobu who was closing her eyes. Not wanting to cry.

" It's okay tamayo-san..y'all tried y'all's best.. " ( not rlly.. )

Tamayo and yushiro went to [ your name ]'s room to check her again and to take blood samples to try and predict the day she will die from the illness.

" So ? Are they able to find a cure for nee-san ? " yuko asked worried. She was carrying kyoko while sanemi carried yoshi and muichiro carried mamoru. Shinobu had a serious face. Not smiling at all.

" First I want you guys to calm down..and relax.. " she started off with. They could hear the seriousness.  After they calmed down shinobu sighed and closed her eyes while her face was facing the ground.

" I'm afraid [ your name ]-chan doesn't have much time left.. "

Can you guys believe one last chapter and the fanfic will already finish ? :0 What do you guys think will happen ?! The trivia will be sad btw :))
