Run. That was the only word running through [ your name ] 's mind. Run, run, run, run. She kept running through the blizzard in the forest. Both her feet were red because she was running in the cold snow, barefoot.

She had her little sister, yuko in her back covered up well. [ your name ] looked down to see blood falling to the ground. Her and someone else blood.

She had cuts everywhere. She also had big and large cuts in her back, like a bears claw mark. But it wasn't a bear, it was a demon.

' run. Run and don't look back [ your name ]. I will be right behind you.. ' those exacts words were repeating in [ your name ]'s mind. Her father words.

[ your name ] felt the presence of the demon right behind her, and indeed she was right. She felt the demons claws once again throw straight into a tree. No matter how many times she got thrown around like a toy, she protected yuko making sure she wants hurt.

' how is she not dead yet ?! ' thought the ugly monster. No matter how many times he had thrown that girl to trees or scratched her in any way, she would still keep running.

He angrily had to admit, she was a fast runner. He never expected for her to keep running but he didn't care because he was going to finish her off.

The demon suddenly appeared right next to [ your name ] in a blink of a eye and smirked. In slow motion, [ your name ] turned her head and her eyes widened in horror. She then suddenly felt the demons claws scratch the side of her neck making her fall off the cliff. ( this all was happening along side a mountain )

she didn't let go of yuko though. she grabbed her in her arms and turned around. She was going to protect her no matter what. She had promised her dad she was.

She landed on the soft snow but sadly it was a downhill so she kept rolling until she hit the bottom. Unexpectedly she hit her head with a rock and started to bleed out from her head.

Yuko was unconscious yet still breathing while [ y/n ] was losing a lot of blood, her breathing was getting slower and her heart beat was also slowing down. Her vision was blurry and she was able to hear ringing in both her ears.

Even though [ your name ]'s vision was blurry she could still figure that the demon was in front of her smirking and laughing as he's going to have two dinner plates tonight.

[ your name ] was not gonna let the demon lay a finger on her. She stood up and grabbed the knife she had taken from her home when she ran away. She got in a position to attack and defend her self and her little sister.

She carefully laid her down, carefully to not hurt her. She covered her with a blanket and a extra ( white ) haori since their was a snow storm.

The demon ran towards [ your name ] and that's when the fight had started between them.

[ your name ] was still caring yuko in her back while walking in the snow barefoot. Her feet were and sore they were starting to turn blue and purple. She had even more blood in her green kimono and in her skin.

It was barely morning and [ your name ] was tired. She haven't slept in hours since her house was attacked. She also found out that her house wasn't the only one attacked. In fact her whole village was destroyed and no one survived except for [ your name ] and yuko.

She had been walking and running for hours and hours and still haven't found humanity since last night. Without knowing, [ your name] had been walking / running for 12 straight hours without resting.

[ your name ] saw a small house in the distance. It looked like it only had three rooms and it seemed that it had a shed in the back ? She walked closer to it, ' it's abandoned.. ' she thought. The walls were all filled with plant weeds and it looked dirty. It also smelled weird too. ( like rotten and stuff, not blood !!  )

[ your name ] decided to stay there while she recovers and because yuko also needed somewhere to rest. [ your name ] opened the door which was kind of hard since the plant weeds were all over the house and the door got kinda stuck.

So she took her knife again and cut all the plant weeds around the house. There was a back door in the house but it was completely locked. She went to the front and opened the door just to see darkness.

[ your name ] opened the door fully so the sun light would go in the house. The entrance was a small kitchen, a small table and the back door with was blocked with boxes. To the left was a small bathroom and to the right was a small room enough for at least 3-4 people.

[ your name ] went inside and saw a messed up futon, like if nobody has used it in years. She laid yuko their carefully while she cleans up the house. She decided that was going to be their new home.

She looked around the room and saw that the closet had kimonos and it also had candles so she grabbed the stick next to it and scratched it in the hard rock to start a fire and lit up the candle. ( idk how they do it so I js made it up 🥲 )

She left the room and searched the small kitchen and bathroom to see what she finds. She found more candles so she lit them up too and placed them around the house. She found cleaning supplies and other stuff they could use. ( hairbrush, etc. ) [ your name ] also searched in the boxes and she found stuff she didn't expected to find.

She found Kunias. They were 5 boxes in total. Two were filled with kunais, and the other 2 were filled with silverware. The last one had more clothes. The only thing that she needed was food for her and yuko.

Hours later [ your name ] finished cleaning and organizing. She needed to find food and appliances that they needed for a living. She also needed money in order to buy them. [ your name ] was sitting down looking at her sister. She was still conscious, but she was still breathing. [ your name ] was thinking in a way on how she could earn money for yuko.

[ your name ] also found bandages, medicine, etc.. she wrapped her injuries and put alcohol so it wouldn't get infected. She also cleaned yuko so she would be clean. She just grabbed a cloth and a bowl of water and cleaned her self and yuko.

Even though she was only 10 years old, she was still smart. Very smart. ' well me and yuko don't need that much clothes. I can go to a near by town and sell some. Plus we can just release our clothes.. ' she thought.

She also found a map with the kunais so she found a near by town that was 1-2 hours away, by walking. ' i mean, I could built a cart or some- ' her thoughts were interrupted when she heard noises come from the shed at the back. She hid the kunai boxes in a secret door she found under the table. It was small but it still fits. She grabbed a kunai and went outside the back door, heading to the shed.

The shed wasn't small but it wasn't big either. It was around noon so the sun was still up. She took off the plant weeds surrounding the shed and unlocked the door from the outside and opened it. She widened her eyes as she didn't expect to see...that.

She a whole stable of animals inside. She saw cows, sheeps, chickens and there was also a gray cat. [ your name ] just smiled and walked closer to the animals. She pat each of the animals in the head and smiled to them.

Somehow the animals could sense she was nice so they got closer to her.

This was a new start. A new home for the kita sisters.

Hey guys it's me the author !! I just wanted to let y'all know how y'all killed the demon. It was was simple you just threw the knife at it and stabbed it a lot of times. Lucky for y'all it was barely turned into a demon so it wasn't that strong. And y'all managed to keep up with it until day time. When it was about to run away y'all trapped it simply by holding into him while cutting him with your knife and it died.
