One week later

Izuku's eyes flew open, and he instantly regretted it. He was in a room that had a bunch of bright lights and loud machines hooked up to him. He sat up slowly, groaning. His body ached everywhere, and just taking a breath hurt.

"Agh... damn, what happened?" He groaned, wincing. A door to his right opened, and a nurse came in and upon seeing him, she let out a surprised squeak.

"Oh! You're awake! How do you feel?" She asked. Izuku twisted around, trying to stretch out, and ended up cracking his entire back.

"I feel like I pile of crap. What happened? Why am I here?" He asked. The nurse sighed.

"Mm. Dr. Akagi said this might happen. What's the last thing you remember?" She asked. Izuku was starting to worry now. What was the last thing he remembered?

"W-well... so, I went to see if I could... train with some friends, and no one was available, so I, I think I went shopping. Oh yeah! There was this girl, she was kind of frogish, must've been her quirk. Yeah, that's where it stops." Izuku racked his brain, but he couldn't remember what happened next.

The nurse pursed her lips. "Okay. Would you like me to call your family up? They're waiting for visiting hours to start, but I think we can make an exception this one time."

Izuku nodded. "Yeah, sure. I'd like to see them."

She smiled. "Alright! I'll be up with them in a minute!"

Thirty minutes later

She lied.

"Seriously?" Izuku groaned. "What's taking that nurse so long?"

The clock kept ticking as Izuku waited in the hospital bed. He decided to get up, his body still hurting, and made his way to the door.

"I'm gonna give that nurse a piece of my mind when I see her." He growled, reaching out for the door handle. All of the sudden, the door flew open, smacking him in the head, with his dad in his buff form yelling "I AM HERE!"

He looked down to see Izuku in a crumpled heap at his feet. He gasped, and in a puff of steam, turned into his skeletal form. "Izuku! Oh my God! I've killed him!"

Inko came in after, smacking him on the head. "You didn't kill him, Toshinori, he's just dazed! Quit making such a fuss, this is a hospital for God's sake!"

Toshinori stood up and cleared his throat. "Oh, you're right. I guess I was overreacting." He looked down at Izuku, who was rubbing his head. "So, uh, how are you feeling?"

"Like the Number One Hero All Might just hit me with a door." Izuku said dryly. Toshinori gave a weak chuckle.

"Sorry we couldn't get here sooner, honey. Even though I wasn't in costume, I was recognized and asked for autographs." Inko said, pulling Izuku into a hug.

He hugged back. "Must've been quite the crowd of it took you thirty minutes to finish."

"Jesus, you can never show any gratitude these day, Zuzu." Izumi sighed, walking into the room.

"Stop calling me Zuzu. I'm not five anymore." He said, hugging her as well.

"I will call you whatever I feel like. Get used to it." Izumi said, squeezing him a bit too tight.
