Immediately after being released from the hospital, Izuku began training harder than ever for the entrance exam. The Demon Clan had lit a fire inside of him, and he needed to get stronger quicker. Over the remaining months, his body got more toned, and he was getting more accurate with his Darkness Bullets. He did fine for training by himself, but he knew he needed something else. He needed a challenge. And so he went to the one person who could give him what he needed.

"Dad, I want to spar with you." He told his father one day. His dad smiled at him apologetically.

"Sorry, Izuku, but today I have to train Izumi. It's important she gets a used to One For All as quick as possible. Maybe next time." He got up from the table. Izuku looked at the floor, his hair covering his eyes. Inko looked sympathetically at him.

"... always about Izumi..." He mumbled. His dad turned around.

"Did you say something, Izuku?" He asked. Izuku didn't reply for a second, then smashed his fist against the table.

"It's always about Izumi! You never take time to work with me, dad! It's always, "Izumi has to control One For All", or "Izumi has to hold up One For All's legacy!" But what about me?! Look at me, dad! I'm right here, asking for your help, and all you can think about is goddamn IZUMI!" Izuku shouted, his eyes fill of anger. His parents both stared at him in shock.

"Izuku!" His mom said sharply. "Watch your language, and apologize to your father right this instant!"

Izuku glared at her. "No! I'm not going to! With both of you, you only ever focus on Izumi's growth! Do you know what that feels like? To try your hardest, and never get the recognition you deserve?" He spat. "Forget it. Of course you wouldn't understand, you're the Number One Hero, dad. Whatever you do, you get recognized." He let his words hang in the air, before scoffing and walking past his dad. When he got to the front door, he cast both of them an over-the-shoulder dirty look.

"I'm going to train. Alone. If you need me for something, have Izumi do it instead. You both like her better anyway." He said venomously, before slamming the door and walking out of his house.

The Day of the Entrance Exam

Izuku and Izumi did outside the gates of UA. This was the moment they've been waiting months for, training for. They looked at the giant school, which was shaped like an 'H'.

"You think the 'H' means anything?" Izumi asked, trying to lighten the mood

"You think the 'H' means anything?" Izumi asked, trying to lighten the mood. Izuku, however, was not having it.

"Let's go." He said. Izumi sighed and nodded, following him inside. Izuku was lost in thought when he suddenly tripped, and almost fell on his face.

"Woah!" He cried out, before realizing he wasn't hitting the ground.

"Sorry about using my quirk on you like that. It's just, you know, bad luck to trip before such an important event!" A female voice said. He looked behind himself to see a girl with rosy cheeks and brown hair smiling at him. She pulled him back up and touched her fingertips together, and Izuku felt his body return to his normal weight.
