My phone rings... again.
I let it ring, I'm studying after all, he can't be mad for studying.
A few minutes later, he calls again. About the 5th time of the hour.
I give in and pick up "HARU!! STOP CALLING"
"But Shizuku!!"
"No." I simply state, then hang up.
I return to studying the Rennasiance. About 5 minutes later, I hear a crash from outside my window, just as I open it to look at what's happening, Haru bursts through, wrecking my desk beside it.
"HARU! NO!"
"Haru, yes." He says matter-of-factly. With that he sighs and says, "I just miss you. You've been spending so much time over summer break and ignoring me, along with the rest of our friends. I just miss you so much Shizuku. Please let me spend some time with you!" A single tear runs down his cheek.
This is the moment I hesitate, I feel sorry for doing this to him... again. I bring him I I a hug, and we sit like that for what seems like forever.
"It's okay, Haru, I'll be here from now on."
"Do you promise?" He looks up at me with those blue eyes, that are now swollen from crying.
I can't resist those eyes, "Yes Haru, I'm not going to leave you ever again."
"I love you." I whisper as he falls asleep.
I cradle him. After all, he is the one I cherish the most.
I kiss his cheek as I, too, drift off.
