And then there was an explosion.
I wake up to a pitch black room, "Shiro!!Are you here!?"
No response. So I try again. "SHIRO?" I shout.
Once again, no response. Tears well up in my eyes, why isn't she here. She's my best friend.
I remember now, being little kids together, growing up...
Once, she tried I fight me, but we bet that if I lost, I had to kiss her. Well, she made me bet.
But if I won, she would leave me alone for an hour.
It's no surprise that she won. She was so happy that she got a kiss from me.
But then I it into an accident and got amnesia, and forgot. I forgot my best friend.
That went on for years, but we met. That must've been fate. She saved me. She saved me from the darkness. And here I am, unable to save her.
I break down into sobs, screaming her name. "SH--SHIRO!!!"
Time passes on for what seems like hours. But then, I see a white light, accompanied by red eyes in the middle, "Ganta!! Why are you crying?" She asks. Isn't it obvious to her?
"Because you were gone!! You left me here alone!!"
She leans down and hugs me. "I didn't leave you Ganta, you're my best friend, I'd never leave you. Friends don't abandoned friends."
She holds me until my sobs come to a stop. "Where are we, Shiro?" I ask, snot running from my nose, and my eyes puffy and red.
"I think we're in heaven." She states. "But at least I'm with my Ganta!"
"I love you Shiro."
"I love you, too."
And with that, we drift off into a never ending rest.
