Hidden Within The Hotel.

Exploring Further.

[theres a bit of cursing in this chap so :D]

Seek twisted the knob, entering the next room. His one eye trailed along the new environment and what it contained. Seek felt incredibly at ease despite his last interaction. He watched as the numbers on the doors he went through went up. Door by door, he was filled with more excitement. He was stuck in that hall for as long as he'd know. Being out from his domain felt so refreshing, so.. nice. He was filled with nice emotions, feelings and thoughts. A never ending smile on his face.

Creak..
Door 37.
Seek opened the next door and it had multiple paintings around it, aswell as a fireplace in the front. Had.. He reached the end? He thought. He couldnt believe his discovery and exploration had come to an end. But he then thought about it. It wasnt possible, there must be some way, It wouldnt just end like that.. Right?

Seek felt upset and walked towards the fireplace, staring into the lively fire and the way it swayed around. He ran his inky hand along the bricks, a sigh following as he decided to do something else.

Seek thought and he walked over to a painting that intrigued him. He then decided to take it off the wall, he held it and moved it around to get a better look at it. 'Interesting..' Seek thought. He was about to put it back before he saw a blue outline of another shape on the wall behind it. Seek looked around the room and saw that all of the paintings had an outline behind it. He spotted a pairing with the same frame shape as the light blue outline on the wall.

Seek realized, This must be a puzzle! Seek took the painting and he walked over to the one with the matching shape, he took the painting placed there before off and placed the one with the same shape onto the matching outline. He looked at where the painting he had placed in its matching spot had previously been and he saw another blue outline with another shape. He picked up the painting from before and went over to the spot before placing it. He repeated this process until it came to the last painting.

Seek held it and placed it in its corresponding place. The second he let go after he placed it he heard a sort of dinging sound. He turned to look at the fireplace that slowly rose upwards, revealing door 38. Seek chuckled as he stared in awe and surprise. As he went towards the next door, he felt slightly relieved that his exploration hadn't come to an end so soon. He walked through the door and continued his journey, not wanting it to end..

A couple of minutes go flying by and Seek hadnt noticed at all. He was too focused on the rooms he went through to even think about the time.. He opened another door and walked up the stairs that were in the next room, he was on door 43. He looked left and right. He saw two doors. A door with the number 43 and one with the number 44. He forgot what number he was on so he went back to check, only to find the number on the door was scratched, seemingly preventing Seek to know what number he was on. He sighed as he went back to the doors. He thought as he tried to remember..

He decided on door 43. He honestly couldnt quite remember the room he was just on but he decided to just choose randomly. He walked towards it and twisted open the door..

GRAAH!

Seek heard a loud roar and he was pushed. He fell on his back, hard. He hit the cold ground and groaned in pain. He sat up and looked at the door and glared at the entity standing there. ??:"What the hell? Who are you? not a human that's for sure.." The voice emitted from the door. Seek groaned and he got up, brushing himself off. He glared at the being in the door. S:"What is wrong with you? That f*cking hurt idiot!" Seek snapped, shoving the person by the shoulder a bit harshly. The figure trembled in place a bit before shaking his head and taking a step back. It sighed and put its hands infront of him to show he wasnt a threat. D:"C-chill out man.. My fault. You chose the wrong door though.. Thats just what happens.. Usually to humans." It explained. Seek sighed and looked at the entity.

S:"Still. You dont gotta f*cking.. shove me.. Whatever.. im guessing your another entity?" The figure nodded. Seek extended his hand for a handshake. S:"Right.. Im Seek. Let's start over.. Nice to meet you." The entity hesitated but eventually shook Seeks hand. It spoke. D:"Nice to meet you too dude.. The names Dupe. My bad again for the push hah-.." S:"Its no worries, at least not anymore.. Anywho I should get going.." D:"Aight man, see ya round?" Seek nodded and stepped back. S:"Right.. Bye."

Seek waved at Dupe and walked to the next door. He was glad that their interaction had ended quickly, He thought Dupe was.. okay. He didnt really like him too much. Was every entity he encountered gonna jumpscare him? He then wondered.. Exactly how many other entities where there.. Sure he had heard about the existence of other entities within the hotel from the humans.. But could there really be that many? He pushed the thoughts out of the way. He went through the door, the correct one this time and walked through. He continued exploring. 44.. 45.. 46..
Seek kept going through more and more doors. Closer and closer to the big 50..
47.. 48.. 49..

50.

Seek walked through door 49 and he saw a large, double door. It had a sort of bronze outline and the number was on the top rather than on the door. The door and the outline had a pretty outline carved onto it. Seek trailed his hand along the pattern and looked at the door in awe. He heard faint stomping and a loud roar from inside of it. He stepped back. A bit.. Afraid. Although he'd never admit it, he felt.. Off about this room. He looked at the doors and took a deep breath. Preparing himself for anything.. He walked closer to the door.. He gently put his hand on the door knob and twisted it.. He opened the door and peeked into the room..

[Aand cliffhanger! Sorry i  just had to.. Anywho thanks for reading! I tried my best to write this one since I didnt have much of an idea what exactly to write but I just went with the flow :} Next chapter will be the two cuties meeting so bare with me.. I'll try updating daily -^-
