Hidden Within The Hotel.

Beyond his Hall.

Seek was chilling and laying on the ground in his little room under the floorboards of his domain. He was bored out of his mind and he would do practically anything to pass the time at this point. He groaned in boredom and he sat on the ground. He sighed as he sat there in thought. Then he heard a sound..

Step.. Step.. Step..

Footsteps.

"Finally.. What took so long.." Seek thought as he eagerly stood up and awaited the arrival of the human. As the human got to the end of the hall, Seek crawled out of the ground. He stood at his full height and looked at the human. He then began to give chase. The human, struck by an immense amount of fear, he stood there and then he ran as fast as he could. Seek chuckled and chased right after.

The human ran and ran, past room and room. He made it to the last hall. Huge inky arms broke through the windows and grabbed aimlessly around, searching for the human. The human, almost paralyzed in pure fear, ran. Seek was rapidly catching up.. He ran around the fire and he was trembling. He turned to look behind him and saw Seek right there, getting closer by the second.

The human lunged through the door and he fell through, tumbling to the ground of the next room. Seek, unknowingly ran through the room aswell. He ran towards the human and began tearing him apart. "Sweet Victory.." Seek grinned. He then got up and the corpse fell into the void. The bodies always just went into the void if they were left there for too long. Seek stood up and brushed himself off. He then realized something and he looked around. The door that had always shut infront of him.. Let him through..

He let out a low gasp and he took in his new surroundings. He had never been past his hall before. He chuckled, then started to laugh a bit as he walked through the room.

"Wow.. Im not in my hall.. I wont have to be in that boring hall any longer.!"

He said, his tone sounding almost relieved and excited. The room looked a bit run down, but wasnt unliveable. It was passable. There was a closet and also a couple of drawers, aswell as a bookshelf. Seek went through the drawers, finding coins and a lighter. He put then away and he walked towards the window.

Pit. Pat. Pit. Pat.

It was raining. Seek smiled as he saw the droplets of rain trail down the window. He placed his hand on the window and felt the coldness from it. It wasnt icy, but it was pretty soothing. He wondered about the outside world.. How it was like. But mostly he wanted to see the rest of the hotel. He let his hand fall to his side and he turned around. He started walking to the next room. The door swung open.

The hotel must think its a human or something. This is what it must be like.. Seek was slightly startled by this but walked through. He looked around and he was grinning from ear to ear. He couldnt keep his curious nature, especially not in a moment like this. Seek was practically ecstatic.

He looked through more drawers, grabbing anything that he could find at this point. After a bit of exploring, he opened a drawer and a spider jumped onto his face. Seek let out a loud yell of surprise.

"AAAH WHAT THE-! GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!!"

Seek screamed. He was caught extremely off guard and he fell backwards. He flailed his arms around and he grabbed the spider. He then threw it off somewhere. Seek's chest rose and fell. He was breathing heavily, his eye wide. He regained his composure and he sighed.

"Jeez.. Why the hell was there a spider there.."

Seek mumbled to himself. He got up and brushed himself off. He relaxed a bit and he continued. He looked at the spider and he stepped back. He wasnt too fond of the 8 legged creature. He then heard it yell. He stared at the spider in confusion. Was it.. Speaking? Seek stepped a bit closer but still kept his distance.

T:"AAGH! ouch!"

It yelled. Seek thought he was going insane to the point it was both hallucinating and hearing things. His trail of thought was cut short when the spider spoke again..

T:"Hey! What was that for!? That hurt you know!" Seek stared at the spider and then spoke. "Y-you.. Your speaking.. Am i going insane?!" Seek was clearly concerned for his sanity. The spider sighed and got up. T:"Your not going crazy. I'm a talking spider.. And i have a name!" S:"What.. Uhm.. What's your name then little guy.?" Seek couldnt believe it was really talking to a spider.. This was very weird for him.

T:"Its Timothy! You made a great first impression.." He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Seek sighed. S:"Well can you blame me? Its not everyday you meet a talking spider.. And you jumped onto my face so that was your fault." Seek said. He sighed and spoke again. S:"Sorry.. For throwing you.. I guess. Let's start over.?  Im Seek. Nice to.. Meet you, Timothy.." The little spider sighed and crawled back to the drawer. He stood ontop of it and looked at Seek.

T:"Nice to meet you too. Please remember to not throw me the next time we meet." Seek rolled his eye. S:"Yeah yeah. I said sorry.." An awkward silence filled the room. Seek fiddled with his hands a bit and looked away. He was still really hesitant and he wanted to get out of this situation. He looked back at Timothy. S:"Uhh.. Well I'm gonna go now. Ill remember to not throw you. Cya around Timothy." He said, turning away and walking off. "Gosh.. Did.. I really have a full conversation with a spider?? Jeez whats next. A talking ant??" Seek thought. He walked off and continued his journey of exploring the hotel.
