Hidden Within The Hotel.

Rough Start.

Creeak..

Seek opened the door. Silence suddenly echoed through the big room and Seek was a bit nervous. Despite his nervousness, he could help but look around with awe.. It was a library! It was kinda dusty, and messy.. but that was okay. He took a deep breath and stepped fully in. The only sound that could be heard was the creak of the door and his footsteps. He then heard a loud roar, piercing the silence.. There was faint stomping aswell. As Seek was inside the library, the doors slammed shut right behind him.

He jumped and looked back, startled. He tried opening the door but couldnt. He panicked slightly, Was he really stuck in a library with a monster? Or who knows what it could be.. Seek gulped and slowly turned back around. He tried his best to remain calm but to no avail as his panic and uneasiness seeped through his act.

Seek looked around, although the cold atmosphere and the sounds of a possibly man eating monster in the library.. It looked awfully nice and cozy. If only the coldness and eerieness of this place would change..

Seek looked around and then he spotted a large figure charging at him, incredibly fast and his arms were extended towards him. Seek yelled and he turned to run. He ran but the figure caught up and he grabbed Seeks arm. Seek struggled against his grasp, luckily before it could do anything he melted his arm and stepped back, he reformed it and kept running.

The large entity clenched his fist and then opened it, he brought it up to his face, visibly confused. The entity paused and felt a weird texture on his hand.. It growled, seeming more irritated than confused now. It chased after Seek and Seek ran and ran. Seek looked around aimlessly and then he ran around a bookshelf. The figure was slowly beginning to have trouble chasing Seek.. Seek eventually moved in a specific manner, which made Figure crash straight into a wall and fall backwards.

Seek stopped and breathed heavily. He looked at the figure on the ground. It groaned in pain as it rubbed the side of his head. Seek let out a sigh of relief and stared at the entity. He wondered what would make it act so aggresive.

Seek looked at the being, taking in all of its features. It had a sort of short body and pretty long limbs, he had a ribcage on the outside of his chest and he has sharp claws aswell. He looked pretty strong. On his face, his mouth took up most of it. He had sharp teeth around the edges inside his mouth, he had a long tongue, well thats what Seek thinks.. It also seemed it didnt have any eyes. Perhaps it was blind..

Seek marveled at its unique apperance and he was almost zoned out. He shook his head and snapped out of it. Why was he so.. Interested in this creature? Seek shook his head again and moved the thoughts out of his head for now. He looked at it and spoke softly. S:"Hey." Seek said, his voice soft and unthreatening.

The creature turned its head to look towards Seeks direction and he growled. He tried to get up again but couldn't. It just let out another growl.

Seek spoke again, sounding a bit nervous. S:"Uhm.. I'm an entity that resides in the hotel.. I assume your an entity aswell..?" Seek says, a bit awkwardly. The entity's expression softened and he looked towards Seek in confusion and intrigue. He looked confused. ??:"Another entity.? Theres more?" It questioned. Seeming confused. As if it thought it was the only entity in this place. Seek seemed a bit surprised. But he would've had the same reaction if he was alone for years and then suddenly finds out theres more entities other than itself.. which he did already experience.. Seek nods, he then remembers that it probably didnt even see him nod. He felt a bit embarassed and then spoke.

S:"Yeah there is. Are you.. Blind?" Seek hoped it didnt mind the question. Figure nodded in response, seeming it didnt take offense to that question. Seek let out a small sigh of relief and looked at the entity, who was still sitting on the ground.. It spoke. ??:"Ahuh, I'm blind. It's pretty obvious." It said. Seek let out an "Mhm" in response. Then Seek knew he had to introduce himself properly. So he did. S:"Oh, I'm Seek. You are..?" F:"I'm Figure. Nice to meet you aswell. Seek." It responded.

S:"Figure.. interesting." Seek mumbled and realized Figure was still on the ground. S:"Oh- uh.. here let me help you out.." Seek slowly approached Figure and extended his hand out to where Figure extended his. Seek gently pulled Figure back to his feet and stared up at him. Figure hadn't let go of Seeks hand yet, Seek stared at their hands together, feeling a bit flustered.

It then spoke again. F:"So.. You're really another entity? What.. Are you? Exactly.?" Figure asked, he reached out and placed a hand on Seeks cheek. Moving his thumb along it to feel the texture. He also moved the hand he was holding to feel the texture of it aswell. Seek blushed a little bit and didnt move. He liked the feeling. He remembered Figure had asked him a question and he quickly responded. S:"Oh uh..-I am made out of ink and I have one eye.." Seek said.

Figure looked at Seek and tilted his head, confused about something and Seek noticed. F:"Is that so.. I'm going to assume you can also turn into a liquid by will too! Also your heartbeat is quickening.. Are you alright.?" Seek nodded at the assumption, and then he was surprised, how'd Figure even know?? Seek blushed a bit more and looked away from Figure but he didnt move his face. He liked the feeling of Figure caressing his cheek. He felt a bit flustered. S:"A-ah? Really? pssh.. I-im perfectly fine! Dont worry about it.! Ha.. Haha.." Seek said nervously.

Figure obviously didnt buy it but decided to drop it. F:"Alright.. If you say so." Figure then let go of Seeks cheek and hand. Seek missed the warmth and comfort Figures touch had brought him.. But he didnt say anything about it. His blush faded a bit as he calmed down.

F:"Oh uh.. sorry for chasing you around.. I thought you were another one of those intruders that always come.." Figure said, scratching the back of his head. S:"Its fine.!" Seek says, he feels like this was the most relaxing and calm interaction.. Well obviously after the part where he was chasing him down.. But he felt this interaction was the calmest one he has had all day. Figure smiled and looked towards Seek. He then spoke. F:"Would.. It be alright if we became friends.? Seek?" Figure felt a bit nervous asking this, as he honestly never talked to anyone for years. He hoped Seek would say yes..

Seek smiled and spoke. S:"Alright, yeah!" Seek said happily. Figure smiled. F:"Would it be alright if I hugged you.?" He said softly and Seek chuckled. S:"Sure.." And with that being said, he picked up Seek into a close and tight hug. F:"Thank you!" Seek was pretty surprised and he flushed red. He was a bit stiff at first since he had never been hugged.. But he wasnt complaining at all. This was a nice feeling.. a warm one too. He relaxed and hugged Figure back, wrapping his arms around him. Clearly Figure never had any friends, he didnt know what they did but he would just go with what he thought. Seek closed his eye, he really enjoyed the moment.

Figure was incredibly warm and Seek let out a content sigh. Figure didnt want to let go, neither did Seek. But they both did, not wanting to make the other uncomfortable. Seek looked at Figure and looked away. He spoke. S:"u-uh.. Well i gotta go now Figure.. But ill see you soon okay?" Seek said. Figure seemed a little sad but he nodded. F:"Oh.. Alright. Goodbye Seek!" S:"Goodbye!" Seek went over to the door. He remembered he could just sink through the door to get back, he didnt know why he was so panicked before. He probably wasn't thinking straight.

He slowly sunk into the ground and started going back to his hall. Figure listened ad Seek left and sighed. He continued to wander around his library. Seek got back to his hall and he went into his room, under the hall. He fell into bed and sighed. "Wow.. What a day.. I met a lot of others.. I especially liked Figure though. He's just so.. Different.. somehow." Seek thought. He turned around and covered himself with his blanket. And he slowly fell asleep..

Another chapter complete! I really liked writing this one. I had a rough day today but tried my best to make a chapter today. Ill update soon! 1520 ish words, not including a/N.
