When you were done doing what you needed to do, you begun to swing around new york looking for gwen and miles. Then you thought for a second and remember miles's thinking spot. The williamsburg bank building, so you decided to check there first.
As you swung ontop of the building, you heard talking. You immediately recognized the voices and knew it was gwen and miles, but before you interrupted you decided to listen in for awhile. They were sitting under the walkspace of the roof and you were standing on the other side eavesdropping.
"In every other universe gwen stacy falls for spiderman"gwen started. That sentence alone made your stomach drop. You thought to yourself 'Does gwen really like miles? What the hell is miles gonna say to this information?' "And in every other universe, it doesnt end well." She continued. That eased your nerves, only a little. You didnt know what you had in store for the future.
"Well...theres a first time for everything....plus things can change right? I mean alot has anyways" As soon as he said that you didnt know if you wanted to cuss them out or throw up from your stomach turning, especially since you didnt know what he meant by that. But you knew you needed to shut it down immediately. You swung yourself upside down where they were sitting and you noticed them touching shoulders. "Ahem" you cleared your throat loudly causing them to jump "am I interrupting something?" You glared at the two.
"Oh! Y/n-" she started but miles immediately cut her off.
"O-of course not ma, you wanna sit?" He scooted away from gwen to make space for me.
"Im good...we should get back to the party anyways." You shrugged as you refused to make eye contact with the two.
"Yea your right, jesus im starving" she nervously laughed as miles helped her up.
"You can have some of the food at the party" you and miles say in unison. He just looked at you and smiles as you looked at him with the straightest face possible. "Okay lets go" you immediately started swinging as they followed.

Miles and gwen used their webs to grab different foods and drinks for themselves and stood under the watertower next to you. Luckily he grabbed your favorite drink and handed it to you. You mumbled a quit 'thank you' and watched the party as the two of them talked.
"Feelings make me hungry" she said as she stuffed her face. "Oh yea, these platanos are just deep fried feeling" they laughed as miles looked at you. Usually you would be running your mouth nonstop and thats what he loved about you, but he knew something was wrong. So he took the liberty to wrap his arms around your waist, hugging you from behind as you were on your phone.
"Who you textin..?" He rested his head on your shoulder as he whispered in your ear, trying to include you in something.
"Mj, she asked how the partys going."
"Like Peters mj? Isnt she like old?" Gwen questioned causing you to laugh.
"Omg no, my mj is maria jones. She just transferred to my school and she kind has a thing for ganke miles." You smiled at him
"Oh word? Tell her ill hook her up." He kissed your cheek as you nodded.
Minutes went by and your starting to loosen up a bit, but not completely forgetting what happened at the bank building. Gwen started talking more about the "society " shes in as miles asked more questions.
"This keeps you from glitching in other dimensions?" He asked as he fidgets with the bracelet
"Yea, its pretty cool"
"Whats it gonna take for miguel o hara to notice y/n l/n and miles morales" he smirked
"Ill put in a good word" she chuckled
"Im just sayin if we had a watch, we could come with you"
"See now that would be fun as fuck" you nodded
"Guys look-"
"We did save the multiverse"
"Right"
"Its a really small elite strike force"
"I can turn invisible i have like electric powers" hes starts naming things he has to convince her, so you decided to do the same.
"Im can _______, I have the ability to _____ OOH! Omg and I can ______!"
"Think about it-"
"There arent alot of slots..." she raised her voice, interrupting you two. "Ah right.." he turns away from her hugging your waist tighter.
"Look if it was up to me.."
"We know..we know" the two of you say in unison. As he continues to press a button on the watch, causing a flap to open.
"Oh! No no no! Dont do that! Miles!" She snatched the watch away from him and tried to fix it.
"Alright, geez.."
"Damn who peed in your cereal? Is it that serious.." you said causing her to sigh and look away. "Sorry, didnt meant to..um snap."
"N-no its okay...it's alright." You notice them suddenly closer to eachother. Before you had the chance to say something, miless mom interrupted causing the pair to back away.
"Hello! Hi. Im Miles's mom."
"Rio! H-hi, ive heard so much about you!" Gwen said, causing your eyes to widen from her calling his mom by her first name.
"Oh your using my first name..okay" she mumbled through her gritted teeth. "This is nice we found it in Miles's room, it doesnt look like anything y/n would wear so....I guess you must have been there, huh?" She handed gwen her "jumper" as you awkwardly smiled at the altercation.
"And you must be jeff" Miles's dad showed up causing you to mumble 'aw shit' under your breath. "Oh, she called me jeff. You must mean Lieutenant Morales, soon to be Captain Morales."
"Ay, captain"She mocks a salute as you try not to laugh at the awkwardness.
"Gwanda and I are friends from school." Miles broke the awkward silence.
"Yeah, we were just catching up."She throws her hand on Miles' back as you stand there.
"Aw... don't take him from me.." rio nervously laughs
"Mom!"
"Im just kidding, hes grounded so you cant."
BEEP BEEP BEEP! -- Gwen covers the alarm on her watch. "Shoot! I have to go."
"Really?" You both say in unison
"I uh-I uh forgot to get my steps in" she nervously laughs. "Really, wish I could stay longer." She holds out her hand for a brutally formal handshake. "Yeah, bye." He shakes her hand disappointingly
She disappears down the fire escape as you all stare down at her, not knowing what to say. Miles goes to the railing to watch the sunset as Rio taps you on your shoulder. "Ill go talk to him, you two go enjoy the party" she says to you and jeff.
"Mrs. Morales are you sure? I mean-"
"No no I got it y/n, dont worry" she hugs you before you go down the fire escape to enjoy the party. "Besides, me and you need our own 1 on 1 girl time anyways right?"
