Bakugo was a bully. Everyone knows this. He and his friends bullied sweet Izuku for being quirkless, for years this went on. Bakugo told Izuku he'd never be a hero, as did all might until Izuku Midoriya stopped Bakugo from being taken by the sludge monster, and that's when he began to change. All might had given Midoriya his quirk and so he got into UA along with a certain blond-haired teen.
Ever since Izuku saved Bakugo from the sludge villain, his personality completely flipped and Izuku finally saw his chance to be let into Bakugo's life. Little did he know Bakugo's true intentions.
About the characters/ what changed
Izuku Midoriya: very kind and wouldn't hurt a fly, wants to be a hero but also wants to be let into Bakugo's life. He's desperate for any kind of connection because he has some issues from his dad leaving him at a young age and he's never been able to make good friendship connections due to Bakugo's bullying and so he doesn't know how to deal with it.
Katsuki Bakugo: mean, a jerk, a manipulator, and all around a horrid person. Narcissistic and- oh wait I'm just describing cannon Bakugo lol anyway, basically he's a jerk and gives everyone serious ick.
Students/Staff of UA: very kind and all are wary of Bakugo, they can see through his act of being a nice guy and want to help Midoriya but have no idea what to do.
Inko Midoriya: wants so desperately for her son to be happy, she loves him with all her soul and will do anything for her son. Basically, cannon mama Inko, we love her <3
Midoriya makes a couple of close friends in Todoroki a super chill friend, Uraraka a big sister figure who wants to care for anyone and everyone and who gives off a warm aura just by walking into a room, Kaminari a good friend, even if he's loud and can be obnoxious sometimes, he cares a lot about his friends, Shinso someone chill who is there for all his friends and talks a lot to Izuku about his struggles a lot, and Iida, Izuku's first friend at UA, he's a bit petty but really cares about Izuku
So, this is the beginning of my story, not much in the plot will change but this book is one big trigger warning. Totally not me projecting my trauma on these characters but moved around to accommodate the story lol, if you're looking for angst, I've got it here and as time goes on it only gets worse :)
