Brigit's P.O.V.
They smiled up at me as I stepped into the office. There were teachers running all over the place.
I approached the boys, when without warning, another Year 11 student ran straight into me, knocking me on the floor.
My books and folders came down with me. Er, great. All my coursework and revision sheets were scattered across the ground.
As I was about to pick them up, another pair of hands beat me to it. I looked up, and Louis was collecting all my work for me. He even put it back into the folders.
“Stupid fat pig.” He called after the boy, and held out his hand for me. I took it without hesitation.
“Thanks.” I smiled weakly, feeling my cheeks getting hotter.
Why was this happening? Today of all days? I’d never met One Direction in my life. I’d supported them through X Factor, tweeted them every single day. Now they were here; at my school; and I’d fallen over in front of them. Perfect.
“Ha, you’ve gone really red.” He laughed, but I knew he didn’t mean it in a harsh way.
“Yeah, this wasn’t exactly how I planned on meeting you guys.” I laughed with him, looking over his shoulder to smile at the rest of the boys.
Then I realised they were all with their girlfriends. Hanna, Sián, Rachael and Perrie. Louis didn’t have a girlfriend at the moment, I guessed he just didn’t want one. I mean, it’s not like he couldn’t get one, he could have any girl he wanted. But I think he’s waiting for the right person.
“Haha, don’t worry about it.” He winked at me. “So, what’s your name?” He asked, still smiling his breath-taking smile.
“Im Brigit.” I replied simply.
“Brigit? That’s a nice name.” Aw, he was so cute.
“Yep, and it’s an Irish name too!” Niall spoke from behind Louis. He walked over and gave me a hug.
“Nice eyes.” He added, grinning at me.
“Thanks.” I smiled back at him.
They all came over to introduce themselves and their girlfriends. I was so jealous of them, they were all so pretty!
“Are you coming to the hall? We’re performing.” Liam asked.
“Of course I am!” I grinned from ear to ear.
We walked to the main hall, chatting along the way. Once we got there I took a seat on the front row next to my cousin Niamh.
“WHAT are they doing here?!” She screeched into my ear.
“Jheeze, keep it down! They’re performing.” She was a huge fan, just like me.
I was about to say something else when I heard the most beautiful voice in the world. We both turned our heads towards the stage. Liam had started the first line of ‘Moments’. I got onto my feet and started cheering with the rest of the audience. This was amazing! By the time it got to Louis’ solo my throat was dry. I’d been screaming through the whole thing. I heard him singing, and I froze. He was looking right at me as he sang his lines; staring. I just smiled, completely lost in his gorgeous eyes.
The song came to a close and I regained my balance. I felt really weird. Happy. On a high.
The rest of the school were lead outside by the staff. I decided to stay behind, just to tell them how amazing they were.
“Wow guys, that was… INCREDIBLE!” I was lost for words.
“Thank you, babe.” Louis came over and hugged me. Oh my. “So, fancy a follow?” He winked and pulled out his phone.
“Sure!” I was too excited. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.
He handed me his phone, it had the Twitter search engine up. I typed in my username and gave it back to him.
“Done. Picture?” He asked as the rest of the boys came over to us.
“Yes please.” I smiled politely.
I got out my phone and gave it to the teacher. She took photos of us all together and then individual ones. I smiled to myself as I flicked through the pictures. Making the one of me and Louis my screensaver.
“Where are you boys off to now?” I was curious, and a bit upset. I didn’t want them to go.
“We’ll be in town for a few days. At a hotel.” Louis gave me a quick hug, then headed out the double doors, followed by the rest of the boys.
I waved after them as they got into the blacked out car and drove off. That was it. They were gone. It was over.
