Knowledge is Dangerous [HaiKaveh]

Chapter 5.2

[Alhaitham's PoV]

It was a dark alley underneath.

I expected to see jails from left to right but all I see is an empty hallway.

I continued walking forward until I saw a group of men dressed in unfamiliar clothing, standing on guard in front of the only room around here

The door is slightly open and I somehow recognized the figure of a man inside

No doubt, that's him.

I unleashed my elemental powers and covered my sword with it then I rushedly charged at the group of men who just noticed my presence

Even though I am not quite a fighter myself, I could say that they are not skilled fighters. Although they did give me a trouble fighting them all alone, their overall strength is still not comparable to the group of eremites here

I slowly walked towards the doorway. Blood from my sword is dropping on the floor in every step I take

I am covered in blood. I must look pathetic right now.

As soon as I entered the room, his teary face is the first thing I noticed.

Why is he crying?

I found him lying on the ground while in front of him is The Doctor who's touching his face

What this man have done to him?

"Hands off." I am still catching my breath, I don't have enough stamina to continue fighting in this state

"Oh, It seemed like we have an uninvited guest..." Dottore stands up and turned to face me but he remained the close distance between himself and Kaveh who's behind him, sitting on the floor while staring at me

His eyes are red and swollen from crying. His clothes were full of grease and dirt, probably got stained from the mechanical equipments I noticed earlier

It seems like he's been working without a proper rest for a long time.

He must be tired.

"I am taking him back." I want to hug him right now.

Shit.

What do I do?

"Oh, really? But he agreed to come with me to Snezhnaya though... Isn't that right, Kaveh?"

Kaveh agreed to come back with him? That's impossible.

I waited for Kaveh to confirm his statement but he didn't make a response. It's a relief

"As if you can handle that man living under the same roof with you. Even I was having a hard time dealing with his temper" I said to divert his attention, I needed time to think how to get Kaveh without fighting this man because I don't think I could win over him one on one

"What the fuck?!" Kaveh shouted from his behind, his face is flushed and I finally saw his usual expression

Dottore was known for his obsession with experimenting humans so Im so worried earlier when he was just staring at me with a blank expression

"Haha, see?" I'm glad that he's the same as his usual self.

"I'm up to no good, either... Well, if I find him annoying, I'll just kill him. That's it. Who says I'm gonna deal with his silly temperament?" Im quite having fun teasing him. I forgot that I should take care of this bastard first

"Anyways, I am literally in a rush so if you really want to save this man, then see you at my homeland" he grabbed Kaveh's arm and lift him up, and dragged him to walk
