"This is surprising," Mom laughs as she serves dinner to Seojun. I take off my shoes at the entrance, gently putting aside my bag against the chair of the dinner table. "You're never late for dinner. Did something happen after school?"
I shake my head slowly, grabbing the bread that was in front of my brother. My lying skills went down the hill, few years prior. Lying to my mother and my brother was always nerve wracking, because I always end up telling the truth two minutes later.
"Some guy from school owed me ice cream so he bought me one today to get rid of it," I revealed, taking a bite of my bread to shut myself up and to talk further.
"Just ice cream?" Mom added, giving me some weird looks.
"Ma, it's the first day of school, I have no interest in whatsoever in that boy. He's even younger than me by a year and we clearly have different interests."
Mom pouts, "You can always try."
"He can try when he's past twenty, not now. No guys can go near him, I will not allow that," Seojun snarls, staring at his food angrily.
"I can have interest in someone, not everyone is the same," I mumbled. My hunger dying slowly after he made that comment.
"That's what Jaehyuk said when he met me, I'm not the same, I can treat him right and all he fucking did was manipulate you, used you and everything I never thought he would do, he did. So don't think about any other guys for the moment."
Holding my tears back, my lips parted to say something but nothing came out. I didn't know where to start or what to say.
"It's not his fault that he met someone like that, how dare you blame him!" Mom debated, pointing fingers at Seojun but he only sighs as a answer. "We changed school for a reason. For him to experience a new life and new people. That includes love too."
"I'll be watching closely this time." And with that, Seojun leaves the dinner table without eating half of his food.
Mom sighs loudly, dropping her metal chopsticks down. I bring the cup to my lips to have a sip. I can feel her staring at me like I have to say something.
"Younger guys are great too." I look up to see her smiling like nothing happened before. I should be careful of my brother for my own sake. I don't want another guy get beaten up by me in some alley.
"It's not that," I start off, wiping the corner of my eyes with my thumb. "I just warned him to not say weird comments out of nowhere. Don't want the same type of problem happening again."
She hums, leaning to me on her elbows. "What did he say?"
"Huh?" I stammered, feeling my cheeks burning up. Mom laughs, really feeling this conversation. "I met him twice, I've notice that he had this habit of staring people. So, he was staring at me and called me the most prettiest person he knew. Also because of the staring, he said that maybe I was the only thing he wants to look at. Ma, what would people think if he says those things at school? They'll get the wrong thoughts and rumours will spread and I'll be transferring to another school, again."
"Jimin-ah," Mom exclaimed, laying both of her hands on the table. "He's interested in you."
"He's not gay, Ma," I deadpanned.
"Oh. Well it's only an interest, maybe he's realizing his true identity. Who knows? You might be the one who sparks this relation to keep going."

He's so stupid. I'm going to kill him. Seriously I'm going too. The moment I see his face or that number seven on his back, I'm going to jump on him and strangle him until he begs for forgiveness. Did he really forget what I said yesterday?
