After texting him like he asked me to, I began searching for the books that might help him for Math and English. Seojun gave me so many books after finishing high school, I hope he has the same difficulty as my older brother.
Then my phone started vibrating. Nobody calls me at this hour, especially not Hyejin since she's probably asleep. I open my phone and I sighed at the person calling me. Of course it was him, who else do I have in my contacts? Him, Hyejin, Mom and Hyung.
What a loner.
"Yes, how may I help you, Jeon?" I ask, putting my flip phone on my shoulder, pressing it against my ear. I continued placing the important books aside and the useless ones back into the shelves.
"I just wanted to say some informations that you might want to note in that blue agenda," He answered back, giving the same tone as I gave to him. Stopping my mouvements, I realized what he just said.
"How do you know my agenda is blue?" I ask, frowning. There is no way he would know that. It's impossible.
He chuckles, "Whenever I pass by your class to go my gym class, you're always holding that agenda. Anyways,"
"Stalker," I muttered, throwing myself on my bed.
"Only for you, Hyung," He laughs like it was nothing. But I felt something in me. He's so shameless. Does he not know what he's saying? "So, 7 to 9 is good for you? Supper and snacks are included."
"You're making it sound like I'm booking a hotel, and yes it's good for me."
"I mean you could come sleep over, nobody is—"
"Okay that's enough, Jeon. What are the dates you can't make it?" I abruptly stopped him from making weird comments. I take my agenda, grabbing my favourite black pen as I wait for him to say the dates.
He was silent for a moment but then he began saying the dates. Every two months, rarely twice a month, he was matches with some other school. That's not bad, we could always report the tutoring classes another day, maybe the weekend, if he's not tired.
Well, that's up to him. Unless, he has serious issues then I will force him to take some tutoring classes from an actual tutor.
"You can always come watch me, I'll reserve a place for you," He says, I can imagine him saying it with a smile. "Only if you want to, I'm not going to force you to come, Hyung."
I sigh, wanting to hit him for no reason. But then a idea popped in my mind, a really good one. I've never felt this imaginative. "I'll come if you get a good grade. So tell me your next exam, then we'll see."
"But Hyung!" He whines. I laughed when I hear him shuffling in his bed, perhaps? What a kid I have to tutor. "Fine, I'll take that as a motivation."
Well, yeah he can do that if he wants to. I really want to see his report card, just to see how bad he is. I want to hear his English and to see him do math. "So, you still want me to come tomorrow or you want to start some other day?"
"The sooner the better, I could get a head start, just to work on my weakness because I don't want to add them up later on," He replies. I'm quite impressed, he sounded like a nerd for a second.
For a moment, I felt like going to see him to his practice tomorrow. I've done everything the work assigned at lunch, the student council doesn't have that much work since it's only the first week. I have nothing to do, it won't kill me for once.
"Can I come see you tomorrow at your practice?" I asked, closing my eyes shut, scared of what he'll say. I don't why I'm so anxious, it'll be even worse if I asked him face to face. I think I would've ran away. But I could hear my own heart hammering in my chest, it's a few seconds since I've heard his voice but I want to hear again.
