It had been a year or two since dragons were introduced to berk. Everything was just perfect. Today, was Hiccup and I's day off. "Where did that queen dragon come from anyways?" I asked out loud, and Hiccup shrugged, "Eh, on our ride with Astrid. Toothless showed us where the queen was, and where they were taking all our stolen food. Cool, right?"
I jumped. I didn't think Hiccup would answer. "Y-yeah..." I stuttered. Hiccup shuddered and grumbled, "Astrid also kissed me on that flight." My neck snapped to look at him, but he wasn't facing me.
/You/"She sucks at kissing." He said absent-mindedly, before turning and kissing you before saying, "Points still stands." Your face burned crimson. That was too smooth.
So, you decided to out-smooth him, and turn into your dragon form, before dragging him by the fake leg and tossing him on your back. You took him to the old training ring, which is now used for learning to bond with your dragons instead of harming them. There, everyone was with their dragons.
Astrid was helping Stormfly shed, Hookfang was on fire, with Snotlout glaring at him (wonder what happened there), while Meatlug was cuddling Fishlegs. Barf & Belch were setting the twin's hair on fire."You know..." You blurted once more Hiccup pulling you into a clingy hug, "They never did apologize." Everyone in the whole circular room paused and looked up from what they were doing. Even Toothless, who had been sitting there, waiting for our punctual flight.
Astrid was the first one to walk up and ask, "What do you mean?" You scoffed, pointed at Hiccup, then mimicked one of his pouty-faces. Hiccup even displayed that face once seeing yours, claiming he didn't look like that."OOhhhhh! Sorry for them Hiccup. Somehow, I knew you would survive. You aren't weak like the others." She said, before walking back to Stormfly and started to pick up loose scales off the ground.
Looking back on it, you realized that Astrid never contributed to the teasing, choosing to sit back and watch. But she still apologized, so it didn't give the others any excuses.Fishlegs was the first after that to apologize, but again, he was too innocent, and never really teased. The Twins were the first to REALLY apologize, because they had actually made some really sarcastic comments in the past. Obviously, they didn't mean it.
Then Snotlout, who happened to be the last one. He grumbled out a, "Sorry." That wasn't even sincere. You had to turn dragon, just to shoot some fire at his feet. Then he screamed, "SORRY! I WON'T DO IT AGAIN!!"He was just being sour. He didn't want to be proven wrong, so you decided to prove him right by turning back and saying, "You know, you always ruin your reputation with the flirting and mean comments. If you were more open-minded, maybe people would like you more."
Toothless gurgled, pointing as the other dragons stared and chirped, laughing at him. Then, you took Hiccup by the wrist, kissed him, then dragged him out of there. The pair of you sighed as you walked out."Glad that's over, now you can be closer as friends." I said.
"What about you?" Hiccup asked, and I scoffed, "I didn't need friends then, don't need them now." Hiccup sighed, "I guess you don't need me then. I AM your boyFRIEND." I gasped and elbowed him, "Oh, how to turns have tabled!!"
He picked me up bridal style, and kissed me, laughing at my now flustered face. I slapped him softly, before grumbling, "You better be glad you're comfortable." I then proceeded to fall asleep in his arms.Overall, it was a great day.
