[Dean's point of view]
After I saw Castiel drive away I turned to Sam. He smirked with an all knowing face before commenting, "Does somebody have an little crush on a certain boy with blue eyes and black sex hair?" I turned my head back to the road to hide an oncoming blush and remark, "No, why would you even think that? Besides I haven't even noticed what color is eyes are or what his hair looks like." My stomach was then hit with a gnawing feeling. He scoffed before answering, "whatever, don't tell me then." Relief hit me when he dropped the conversation. When I arrived, I parked the car into the driveway and let Sammy out. He got out of the car but walked towards my window, "Hurry up, you don't want to late for your date with Cas. Maybe you'll get lucky and he'll give you a kiss." He ran away half laughing and have making kissing noises. The last thing I heard before leaving was "Dean and Cas sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G." I rolled my eyes as I backed out of the driveway and headed towards the diner. I had butterflies in my stomach,'oh god' I thought I'm turning into a teenage girl. I saw the sign of the diner reading Harvelle's and drove into the parking lot waiting for a parking space. As I turned the ignition off I realized I still had butterflies in my stomach which meant I must have been nervous and continued to pretend not to know why. I let out a sigh before finally deciding to get out of the car and go in. I checked my reflection in the rear view mirror along with my teeth and breath just in case. I opened the door and glanced around looking for Castiel. I saw a head faced the other way and on the table. I walked over noticing a few girls stare my way but I chose to avoid their desperate hi's and smiles. I sat down unsure if he had noticed my presence. I'm pretty sure he hadn't because when he glanced up he jumped a little and screamed, "Oh my gosh. You scared me." He started laughing at his foolishness which caused me laugh with him as he has the most infectious laugh I had ever heard. When he finished he smiled and looked at me. Calm down Dean you're acting like a teenage girl again. I tried to control my fast beating heart and play cool but I guess he noticed my slight panicked state as he asked, "Are you okay?"
"Yea, why wouldn't I be."
This guy was able to see past my defense which was not good if I was developing feelings towards him, of course the only feelings I actually felt were friendly ones. "Anyways let's get back to the project, shall we?" I mentally high-fived myself for coming up with an idea to switch the topic of the conversation. "Right... so what do you want to do the project on? Cause I have this great idea that I think will work." Excitement illuminated off of him with a smile. Ador-kable, nice save Dean. I shrugged my shoulders in a manner to say no. "Great we can just try my idea. It's okay if you don't want to, just let me explain it to you first. Well when electron is given energy it jumps to the next level and comes back down while releasing the energy so I was thinking maybe we could make a bright neon sign... And before you say how are we going to make it? I was thinking we could use an empty lab from my father's company." I was about to speak up when he cut me off. "And please don't think that I'm going to use it as an excuse to get the scientists to do the project for us,okay." I cleared my throat before answering, "I wasn't going to say anything." His expression changed, "Oh. Usually when I'm paired up with someone in chemistry they expect me to ask my father's workers to do my project even I'm not suggesting their help in any way." He moved his attention to the table in front of us. "Well I'm not just somebody." I was about to continue in my defense at that moment another person stepped up and cleared their throat, "Am I interrupting anything?" I turn my face to see a smirky Jo. Castiel answers first, "No. No, of course not." "Hey, Dean. Hey Castiel." His expression grew with confusion which I had thought was cute. No not cute just amusing. "I'm sorry, do I know you?" Awkward silence filled the atmosphere. "Wow,that's not what I expected to hear. Well I'm Jo I go to the same school as you, have since middle school. Anyways, I came to drop off some menus and be back in a minute to take your orders." I could tell she was embarrassed as she walked away. "So is she your girlfriend?" My response to his question was to start in a fit of uncontrollable coughing. "Actually she's my cousin." The news seemed to please him as he tried to hide some new found excitement. "Oh." He was probably excited to know that Jo was single and wanted to ask her out. The gnawing at my stomach came back while I tried to convince myself that it wasn't because I was jealous. "Wouldn't your friends get mad knowing that you asked out someone with lesser money or are you doing it so you can mess with her feelings, cause if I find out you did I'll tear you to shreds." He seemed to think about what to say next and not to mess up, "I think we have a misunderstanding."  I leaned a little bit closer to the table, "if you're trying to save your sorry ass save it." It was his turn to lean in, "I know what I said, obviously you misunderstood because right after I said it you seemed mad." I leaned a bit closer again, "I'm not mad, why would I be mad?"
