Once we left the store with all of our baby stuff we went home. Justin and Chaz began bringing the stuff in and me and Keighton began organizing the kitchen. When the paint had dried Chaz and Justin began putting the crib together. Once that was up me and Keighton began putting the sheets and stuff on the mattress. Then they started putting the changing table together while me and Keighton began to un-box the rocker. We got it un-boxed and Justin and Chaz lifted it so we could get the box out from underneath it. Then when they got done with the changing table we put all of the burp rags and diapers in the drawers on it. Then they got the dresser up. And I and Keighton put the clothes and shoes in it.
Once they left and the nursery was all decorated, I went to bed because it was 10:30 at night. Justin was eating some leftover pizza from last night. About 20 minutes after I got in the bed, I heard Justin get in. My arms immediately came around his waist and his around mine.
*~~~The Next Day~~~*
I woke up with a sharp pain in my abdomen.
“Justin. Baby wake up.” I whispered as I shook him lightly.
“Uhh…Naomi is everything ok?” he asked sleepily but his face showed fear.
“I have a sharp pain in my stomach.” I said.
“Okay. Stay here, I’ll go call Dr. Emily.” He told me.
I nodded and waited for him to return.
“Lets go. Dr. Emily said we need to be up there really soon. I’ll go pack some clothes for the baby. Can you pack your bag?” he asked worriedly.
“I’ll try.” I said, my voice cracking.
He immediately came over and hugged me. That’s when all the tears starting falling.
“Shh. Shh. He will be okay, Naomi.” He soothed while stroking my hair.
I nodded and started packing my bag. About 5 minutes later I was done. Justin came in and took the bag from me. He took it to the car and installed the car seat.
He came in, put his arm around my waist and led me to the car. He helped me in and ran around to the drivers side. He called his mom and she met us at the hospital. My parents live in Italy. So I never see them. The nurse put me in a wheelchair as soon as we got there. Justin gripping my hand the entire time.
They led me to a room and handed me a gown, I changed and Justin helped me onto the bed.
“Good morning, Justin, Naomi and Pattie” Dr. Emily said smiling.
“What seems to be the problem with little Kaceson?” she asked.
“She complained of a sharp pain this morning.” Justin answered.
“Okay. Have you been resting like you should?” she asked.
I shook my head no. “I have been resting but I find it impossible to ever sleep.” I said.
“Okay. We are going to do an ultrasound and see how the little guy is doing.” She said.
We nodded and the nurse wheeled in an ultrasound machine. They lifted up my gown but closed the curtain around my bed.
“There is Kaceson.” Dr. Emily indicated on the screen.
“Were going to do a C-section.” She said.
We nodded and she left the room. The tears started falling again.
“He’s not going to make it at that side.” I sobbed not wanting to lose my precious baby boy.
“Shh. Baby he won’t. He’ll be as strong as his momma.” Justin smiled.
I smiled and then the nurse came in with a wheelchair. Justin helped me off the bed and into the wheel chair. She wheeled me to the OR and Justin got into some scrubs.
*~~~30 minutes later~~~*
I lay back in bed admiring my baby boy lying in his daddy’s arms. Turned out he was a mere 6 lbs even.
“Y’all did well.” Pattie said admiring her grandbaby.
Then a girl walked in to do Kaceson’s birth certificate.
“Hey. Sorry to interrupt but I need a few things.” She said.
“That’s fine.” I smiled.
“Okay. His full name?” she asked.
“Kaceson Drew Bieber.” I answered proudly.
“So he is taking his dad’s last name?” she asked.
“Yes he is. Were married.” I stated.
“Okay, your full name?” she asked.
“Naomi Jamaica Bieber.” I answered proudly.
“Your full name?” she asked Justin.
“Justin Drew Bieber.” He said.
She smiled. “The little one is taking your middle name too, huh.” She said.
I smiled.
“Okay, let me see him and I will get his finger and toe prints.” She said as we handed him to her.
She did the toe and finger prints and handed him to me.
She left the room and Kace opened his eyes to reveal a pair to match Justin’s.
