"Three lumens for that portion? Well, that's a steal," remarked the traveler, a newcomer to Almira.

The proprietor of the stall, grinned at the compliment.
"You've got a good eye for a bargain," glancing over her shoulder towards the imposing silhouette of the royal palace in the distance.

Her companion, in simple yet sturdy travel attire, followed her gaze and caught sight of a figure moving gracefully through the crowd.
"Who's that?" She asked, her curiosity piqued by the air of confidence and authority surrounding the man.

Her grin widened as she leaned in closer, voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.
"That there- Prince Azrael," emphasizing each syllable as if sharing a closely guarded secret.

"The most eligible bachelor in all of the kingdom. Accomplished, charming, and as handsome as they come."

The traveler's eyes widened in intrigue as they watched him navigate the throng of people with ease.

"Prince Azrael,"
she repeated. "I've heard of him, I think he's quite the catch."

The trader nodded, a knowing smile playing on her lips. "You bet. Like a beacon of hope for many a hopeful heart."
They both laughed.

"Darling, you're going to be the most dashing man at the dinner table tonight," Queen Almira teased, straightening King Caluth's buttons with practiced ease.

He smiled, a twinkle of amusement in his eyes.

As they made their way to the dining hall, the king  led the way with his queen by his side. Their children, already seated at the table, greeted their parents with smiles and eager anticipation.

Prince Azrael, the eldest son, rose to his feet with a charming smile.
"Welcome, Father, Mother. Please, take your seats. Dinner is about to begin."

Princess Serafina, her eyes shining with warmth, gestured to the empty chairs beside her. "We've been eagerly awaiting your arrival, Mother, Father. It's not often we get to share a meal together like this."

Prince Edmund, his hands still bearing traces of soil from his botanical experiments, nodded in agreement. "Yes, indeed. It's a rare treat to have the entire family together."

Serafina scolded.
"Ed, your hands are dirty." He then wiped it on his trousers, leaving Serafina glaring at him.

Just as they were about to begin, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed through the hall, and Princess Isabella burst into the room, her cheeks flushed with excitement.

"Sorry I'm late," Isabella exclaimed breathlessly, sinking into her chair. "Bolt lost his horseshoe, and I had to help him find it."

The family shared a collective chuckle at Isabella's explanation.

"Close your eyes, let's say our prayers."

The kingdom of Azurath had also prospered, but under the dark shadow of its ruler, King Azazel. Despite his kingdom's success, Azazel's infamous love life remained a stain on his legacy.

King Azazel had amassed a harem of concubines, indulging in the company of women from various lands. While he had several children, his heart remained elusive, finding pleasure in fleeting encounters that never amounted to true love.
