He wrapped his arms around my waist, and smiled broadly. I squirmed a bit, but I have to say, it wasn't that bad. We danced for a long time, and went home exhausted. I went straight to the bathroom, and finished taking care of my teeth, which had returned to normal. Ella ran up stairs, and collapsed in the bed. She was out like a light. I changed in to the spare sleepshirt that Ella had provided, and went back downstairs to get some rest. DL had passed out on the couch.
"Oh come on," I muttered. It didn't look like he was going anywhere soon. Maybe I could carry him up the stairs. I contemplated it for a moment. Worth a shot.
"Why are you so heavy!?" I grimaced, attempting to lift him. After at least thirty minutes of repositioning, shoving, and backbreaking lifting, I gave up. I couldn't even get him off of the couch. I'll sleep on the floor. I turned to walk away, when DL wrapped an arm around me waist.
"Mmmh. ZZZZ." He was still sleeping. I tried to remove his arm from me, but he wasn't budging. He rolled over, and dragged me with him. I was NOT a teddy bear, and I certainly would not be treated like one. I squirmed and shoved, but his grip was strong. At least the couch was comfortable.
