We wake up lazy and slow

A hug and kiss, to the bathroom you go

These are the moments I lay silent and still

Dreaming and waking, getting out of bed is like an insurmountable hill

I finally roll out of bed and go to the bathroom

Still exhausted, I look forward to returning to bed

These are moments where I sit in my head

When you come out, I feel excitement, it is time to start our day

"What coffee do you want? You say

As we decide, we begin to pack

It is a nature hike and swimming day so we bring a snack

We get to valley falls, in all its wonder

The river rushing and the falls release a thunder

We dance across the rocks

We sit by the falls and neither of us talks

We are connected, no words need be said

For we look at the falls together and already know what is in each others head

It is time to make the long walk through the trail

As we hike, we hear the rumbling of a train down on the rail

It passes, thunderous and loud

On we trek, crossing many dead trees storms had past plowed

We reach the river and scope out a beach

A lovely spot, not secluded, a place anyone could reach

But today it is ours and ours alone

We jump in the water and swim where the sun shone

We splash and play

We snack and lay

The rocks and sun dry us

We pack our wet clothes without fuss

It is time to leave

Another wonderful day already, I know we both believe

But as we head home a surprise is ahead

I fall asleep, only to waken when "I parked and saw some interesting tents" is said.

A surprise art fair, seemingly popped up just for us

We browse and walk, mostly crystals but every crafted work is a plus

We find a very special tent

All unique crafts and arts, no crystals not even a hint

We both browse in wonder

All these crafts could tear our wallet asunder

We dont get too spendy

But still go home with plenty

Another day

Another lovely memory
