Later the night of the sports festival Izuku walked outside, he had seen his mom and she cried her eyes out for a good hour. Seeing her baby so hurt made her horrified but knowing he was protected in the end is what didn't make her immediately pull him out of U.A.
"Deku!"
Izuku turned around and saw Ochako taking out the garbage.
"Hey Uraraka." Izuku waved at her and smiled.
She jogged over to him.
"What are you doin out here this late?" Ochako asks while standing a few feet away from him.
"Just came out here to clear my mind, lots been going on lately wouldn't you agree?" Izuku started to walk over to a bench. Ochako followed close behind.
"Yeah, it has been a lot..." Ochako thinks to her unlocking blackwhip and everything with the USJ.
"I can't believe I have a quirk...it's really insane to think about. I was quirkless my whole life and suddenly it just...happened." Izuku looked up to the starry sky and reminisced on his quirkless past.
"You would know as well, since you also awakened a quirk in the past few months right?" Izuku looks over to Ochako who was staring at him.
She quickly looks away.
"Uh, yeah....I get you." Ochako felt guilty for lying about her quirk but she couldn't tell anyone about one for all...right?
"Today was great Uraraka...I'm so happy you won, you really deserve it." Izuku smiles at the girl.
She felt her heart flutter.
"D-Deku...don't flatter me." She blushes and covers her face.
Izuku blinks a few times.
"Uh...sorry?" He awkwardly apologizes and Ochako giggles.
"No need to apologize, I'm just being weird." Ochako holds her face to hide her blush.
Izuku nods.
There's an awkward silence between the two.
"It's so pretty out at this time of night, especially with all of the stars." Ochako looks up to the sky.
"Yeah, I agree..." izuku says looking up as well.
"Hey I wanted to ask about something that happened earlier is that okay?" Izuku asks Ochako.
"Uhm yeah what's up?" She looks at the boy.
"You told me you went to the bathroom but you were obviously lying, is there a reason you lied?" Izuku doesn't look at her and keeps staring at the stars.
Ochako's mouth opens but no words come out.
'I can trust him...' She thinks to herself before standing up and bowing.
"I'm very sorry for lying to you Deku..." She says disappointed in herself.
Izuku looks down at her surprised. He didn't expect anything but an apology was something he expected not to happen.
"Listen, it's a long story...but my quirk. It isn't mine..." Ochako stays bowed down.
Izuku squints his eye a bit.
"What do you mean?" Izuku questions while standing up off of the bench.
"It's my dads quirk...he passed it on to me..." Ochako admits.
"Passed...on?" Izuku said obviously confused.
"My dad...he's All Might..." Ochako looks up to see Izuku freeze in place.
