ORP Poznań sank in 1942, on January 25 at 15:21

This war for Poland ended in a total defeat, the insurgents surrendered and fled the country

When the sisters of the King Gregory V class learned of the death of Poznan on their ships, the flags were half-lowered as well as on other ships
