Chapter 7: Cleaning away the pain

After the expedition, you started to clean a lot more around HQ, even more than Levi asked of you.
It took you away from some of the pain, not enough to stop your cutting, but enough to keep you sane.
You always woke up in the morning, gave your wrist some new cuts, CLEANED up the old ones, CLEANED up your blades, cutting and 3DMG ones, cleaned the room until everything was spotless.
You began to despise dirt, hating it with a passion. the first time you cleaned anything anymore it was like a mirror, you always saw your own face.
Levi was very impressed, he never new someone to have the same passion for hygiene as him.
"Huh, one more thing that the brat does that makes me like her..... wait what?!" Thought Levi one day, as he was watching you clean the mess hall.
You turned and saw Levi rush out of the mess hall, his face as red as a tomato. "must have seen Petra cleaning. No wonder he likes her, she is beautiful, talented, smart, someone worth Heicho's time." You sadly thought, finishing cleaning and rushing to your room to give yourself new cuts.

As he was heading to bed, Levi thought he heard singing coming from outside. "Wow, they have such a beautiful voice, is that one of the soldiers?" He says to himself as he looks out the window.
Under the willow tree, he spots (Y/N), singing a song of sorrow with tears streaming down her (E/C) eyes, the moon shining of her smooth face.
He wondered what she could have been so sad about, until he saw you whip your head around to the forest, hearing some noise, and bolting off for the woman's barracks.
He see 3 female cadets walk out of the forest, laughing and gossiping.
"That girl (Y/N) is so stupid! She doesn't even have her own fighting style! She's just like Levi, SAME moves, SAME love for cleaning. what next?! Is she gonna get shorter and meaner?!" Exclaims one of the girls.
"Ha! She's to quiet and concealed to do that! I hope she dies in a hole! I've seen the way Heicho looks at her! SHE is in the way of Heicho courting me (dating if you didn't know!)!" Remarks another.
Levi watched them, shooting daggers from his eyes at the unobservant girls as they walked to the dorm.
"HOW COULD THEY SAW THAT ABOUT HER?! (Y/N) IS THE NICEST CADET HERE?! WHO GIVES A MONKEY'S ASS IF SHE LIKES TO BE PRIVATE ABOUT HER LIFE?!" Levi screams in his mind. He makes a mental not of the 3 girls and their faces, just to remind himself that they need some special training tomorrow.....
