Hanji and I went out to wall Sina to go find my soon to be wedding dress, as well as some planning for the wedding itself. "GAH! IM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!" Hanji kept screaming the entire ride, obviously hurting the poor coach driver's ears. Even so, her loudness couldn't mask how insanely excited I was for the wedding, and marring the man of my dreams.
As we reached the dress store, Hanji practically dived in to the door off of her house, which seemed so used to her crazy antics. I followed in quickly, just to make sure she didn't tear up the place.
As I walked in, a short plum elderly woman greets me. "Why hello dearie! Welcome to my dress shop! Is there anything I can do for-" and she stared at me, tears threatening to fall down her face. "(Y/n)? Is the really you?" I then realized who this woman was. She was best friends with my mom, she was almost like a second mom to me. "W-Wendy?" I croak out as I begin to cry. We embrace in a tight hug, crying tears of joy for finding each other again.
"(Y/n) I've missed you so much!" She exclaims. "And who knew you were getting married! Oh (Y/n) this is fantastic!" She excitedly squeals. "I actually have the perfect dress for you! Come, come!"
She ushers Hanji and I into the back of the shop, where she reveals a beautiful ball gown inspired wedding dress. It flowed out at the waist and cascaded down to the ground adored with hundreds of pearls. The top was strapless and had pearls all along it as well as a beautiful spiral pattern that reminded me of a rose (so basically the picture but with more pearls at the bottom of the dress).
"Oh, go try it on!" Marry exclaimed, and I rush to the fitting room.
I emerge, and the two woman gasp, their faces lighting up greatly. "(Y/N) ITS PERFECT!" They both exclaim. I look in the mirror, and I gasp myself. I felt like a princess, and I felt so beautiful.
"I'll take it!" I whisper, my hand covering my mouth in joy.
"Your mother picked that dress for you when she was getting married. I kept it here safe until I knew you would come for it." Mary claims, crying joy.
"How much is it?" I ask, afraid it would be too pricy.
"My dear, your mother had also payed it off. It's free!" She exclaims, and I smile with glee.
"Oh Wendy thank you so much! Please, will you come to the wedding?"
"Why, I wouldn't miss it even if my shop was being rob!" She jokes, and we all laugh.
As I gather the dress and head out the door, I give one last wave to Marry, who has silent tears streaming down her face.
Yah, this was going to be a great wedding.
