What if....Lucas was Max's senior high school teacher that she was greatly attracted to? (Teasing) (continues one month after chapter seventy two)

***********************************************

"So based on the steps of the formula what's the answer to number two?" Lucas questions, him and Max being in his classroom, her sitting in front of him behind his desk.

"Formula. Why do they call it formula? Every time I hear formula I think of baby formula. Why can't they just call these things a freaking pain in the ass series of various letters and numbers?" Max shrugs.

"Watch your mouth." Lucas tells her.

Max rolls her eyes in response, her leaning back in her seat. "I don't know seventy one, or let's just be safe and reverse the numbers let's say seventeen." Max smiles.

Lucas turns his chair to face her, him leaning forward while clasping his hands together. "So you think this is all fun and games?"

"No." Max replies, him quirking a brow at her. "No sir." She corrects.

Lucas leans back slowly in his seat, his hands still being clasped together. "Max you have been doing well for the past month. What's going on now?"

What's going on now?

Such a good question.

This past month has been challenging, considering the fact that calculus is a pain in the ass for the human brain. It having so many damn formulas and equations that Max knows she isn't going to even use in the day to day world.

And one other thing....

Always seeing Lucas dressed in his nice sharp suits while teaching, his deep smooth tone always sending her into a trance every time he talks, and every time his eyes set on her...how her heart always just skips a beat and how that fluttering feeling inside of her always starts to come back.

Sometimes she hates how flustered he always gets her, so trust her when she says she has been trying to get herself out of it but some days are just really hard.

She never knew sexual frustration could be so hard.

"I just don't understand how calculus is going to benefit me whenever I start my career. Like who the hell is going to use this formula? Like seriously it is like some dude or woman just said hey! Let's make a subject to mentally destroy children's lives before they even get their lives started! Oh yeah! Great idea!" Max rambles in a sarcastic tone.

Lucas just raises his eyebrows at her. "You complaining about the subject is not going to make it magically go away."

Max rolls her eyes again. "Yeah obviously."

"Max roll your eyes at me again see what happens."

Max's eyes widen a little bit from the sudden statement, her feeling that familiar fluttering feeling and the feeling of the room suddenly growing more hot. Max lightly plays with her pencil in her hands. "Sorry." She softly says.

"What's the answer to number two?" He questions again.

Max sighs a little bit, her looking back down at worksheet before she begins to write out the formula then try and solve the problem, her still feeling her heart begin to beat more faster and faster when she feels his stare on her.

Max looks up at him. "What?"

"I'm waiting for an answer." He states.

"I'm working on it."

"Then by all means continue working."

"I'm trying to."

"You're talking not working."
