Ashlyn.

She woke up to the familiar blare of the sun and rose for the day.

Tuesday

She would be relieved to leave the house, painted claws clicking on old crumbled concrete, she walked the path she walked 1000 times, she found herself in the marketplace.

It was a weekly event where the neighborhood would get together their best vegetables, fruits, cloths, soaps and jewelry and they'd trade and sell their goods.

Just about anything could be found here; picture frames, paper, knives, mayonnaise

Ashlyn took a peek at each stand, a mother rabbit selling their fresh fruit jellies, a big burly bear selling quality timber.

Ashlyn would finally find a small stand run by a pretty pig woman with a wide display of vegetables. Radishes, turnips, carrots, onions, celery sticks. The owner of the stand was kind and bubbly.

"Oh here sweetie let me get it into the bag for you.. oh my gosh what's that on your face?! are you ok dearie?"

Ashlyn gulped, it had been a week since the second incident.

"Uh.. nothing, thanks for helping me with my bag!" She'd reply awkwardly before racing off

"Wha- wait!"
The pig lady would call after her and attempt to follow but Ashlyn but nimbly dodged and hid herself in the crowd of people.

A few minutes to calm down the old nerves..

She gets up again and makes way to another stand, one that sells face masks.

The face mask covers both her most recent scar and her nose scar.

She finishes up buying all her groceries and was on her way home. As Ash was on her way back she bumped into someone.

"Hey! Watch it!" Ashlyn rubs her forehead with a paw while carrying the bags

She looks up to this brown wolf girl wearing an expensive blue dress, she was with a tall muscular man. Presumably a body guard, and between her ears was a sparkling crown. Was she.. royalty?

"Oh- oh my god I'm so sorry your highness-" Ashlyn flinched, oh my god how did she mess up this bad

Ayanna flinched back "no it's fine- seriously" Ayanna watched Ashlyn with curious eyes, stepping from the side of her body guard to get a look at Ash.

"Right.."

They stared at each other for a good moment before awkwardly saying goodbye, they didn't engage in anymore conversation.
