"Reggie," a soft voice spoke as her love entered the room, wearing a fashionable suit. "Don't you look dapper."
"Well, I thought it was right to buy something special for the occasion," he smiled warmly at her, sitting on the side of the bed she was lying in, unclasping a violin case. "I didn't realise that you felt up to playing."
"I don't. I want you to take it with you."
"No, my love."
"Please. Find someone who'll love it as much as I have," Reginald leaned in closer, so that their faces were inches apart.
"I can't leave you," he shook his head in desperation, practically begging. "There must be another way."
"There isn't," she cupped his face lovelingly. "I will die here, but you won't. I won't allow it. The world needs you, Reggie. Now go," Reginald took her hand from his face, bringing it to his lips to give her a soft kiss. After a moment or two of her touch, he got up, stepping over to a decorative glass table behind him, where a jar sat, full of glowing marigold that swarmed peacefully. He picked it up and walked towards the window, pausing momentarily to look back at his wife in despair for what her fate would be, yet hopeful that what he would do next could save her. Reginald looked back to the jar in his hands and opened the lid, releasing it's contents into the air, watching them all drift off separately, and praying this is what could save her.

A while later, the man was alone, but he had no time to grieve over her, no, he just needed to prepare to save her. Approaching 'Custom and Immigrations' to travel by ship, somewhere with the resources he'd need, carrying only a few bags and his precious violin.
"Name?"
"Reginald Hargreeves," he replied, before the man before him stamped his inspection card, allowing him to board the ship. When he reached his destination in the state of New York, he walked up to a market, setting both of his bags down, but not the violin that he held under his armpit. He took out something from his pocket and placed it on his eye - a monocle. Reginald picked up his bags and took in his surroundings, turning his head and noticing the sign to one of the shops nearby. It read 'D. S. UMBRELLA. MANUFACTURING Co.', then looked down to the front door, where a sign was hung up notifying that the building was for sale. Reginald wasted no time in buying it, entering the building and inspecting one of the old umbrellas which would no longer be manufactured. No, Reginald was intending something far greater, rather than the measly shop it was now. Something he would be willing to work on for decades to come no matter what it took.

Eventually, Vanya had stopped with the screaming and crying, after all the flashbacks she had gotten from being in the same room she wasn't even aware of being trapped in like she was now, as a child no older than seven. Her eyes had turned white and her skin had paled significantly, finally deciding to channel her powers on getting her out of her life-long prison, causing the lights in her room to flicker uncontrollably, before walking towards the door, no longer caring what would happen to the things or people around her, now realising that she has never been loved and that she would have to do something about it.The house rattled horribly, alarming everyone as they stepped out into the hall.
"Yo, what the hell is going on?" Diego asked, marching down the hall toward his siblings and in-law. He was still furious at Luther for what he had done and planned to break out his sister as soon as possible, but the danger of a collapsing house put his plans on the back burner.
"Are those explosions coming from-?" Klaus began, turning towards Luther.
"Vanya," Pogo answered Klaus' unspoken question.
"Vanya?" Five asked inquisitively, Rowan staring at them hoping for an answer to their mention of Vanya. The brothers looked between each other, silently asking if he or Five even knew.
"This guy thought the best option was to contain her," Diego spat, referring to Luther.
"It was the best decision."
"Are you serious? Look around you, man! You clearly left her no other choice!" Rowan yelled, being cut short of the lecture he was about to give by Pogo.
"Please, no arguing, we have no time to lose! We need to get to safety outside the Academy," Pogo commanded, taking authority. The house shook again as the loud crashes filled the air once more, Rowan sighed in agreement before turning to Five, who grabbed his shoulder to jump. Diego and Klaus nodded before running down the hall, Luther calling to them to remember Grace before turning to Pogo, the quaking of the house worsening as a second went by.
"Pogo, I'm-"
"Go!" he interrupted, urgency lacing his words. "Now!" Luther rushed to get Allison, who was frantically circling her bedroom, attempting to save the items in her room that would surely break, before Luther ushered her out of the room and upstairs to what he hoped was safety.
