Eve

I looked around the room. There were people walking around, but they didn't pay any attention to us. "Go." I said to Spider. "I'll stop them."

He grabbed his mask and ran. The others caught on, and ran after them, but I stuck out my foot, and tripped at least ten of them. Only two ran after him, but I was sure that he would make it.

I watched from the window as Spider ran over to them, and was held back from some of the guys on the deck. Soon, he was pushed back, and was soon in thee room.

"Anything?"

"No." he responded, and then stationed himself at the window, and watched them.

We watched as a Na'vi army came into view. There was a pause, and a few minutes of stillness, in which I assumed that Quaritch was talking to Jake Sully.

I was right as I saw a single figure advance forward. Just at that moment, I saw some movement in the water.

Do they have some back-up?

Just as Jake Sully moved a bit closer, a tulkun emerged from the water, and landed on the deck.

Everyone in the control center watched as the tulkun caused chaos and damage on the deck. The boat that held Scoresby moved towards the deck, and fired a harpoon at it, but it bounced off from the top of it's head, and landed right next to our room, causing an explosion.

Well done, tulkun.

The tulkun roared and moved off the deck and back in the water, knocking down a crane on it's way. I turned back to the Na'vi army, who had suddenly moved forward, and started attacking the humans.

Or sky people. I guess that's the best name for them.

We all watched as explosions and death unfolded right in front of us. A war breaking out. And we can't do anything!

Use your brain, Eve! There has to be something that you can do in here.

I looked around the room, and my eyes landed on a fire extinguisher, tucked in the wall. I sidled over there slowly, and picked it up. "Spider." I whispered, not removing my eyes from the window. They can't know about what we're about to do.

He turned toward me, then walked over slowly. I took hold of his wrist, and put the fire extinguisher in his hand. "The controls." I said.

He looked over to the levers that moved the ship forward, and nodded. Quickly, he knocked out the operator, moved the levers forward, and smashed the extinguisher against them, holding them at that pose.

After many attempts, the others finally got him away, and tried to pull the levers back, but it was too late. The ship rammed into rocks, causing everyone to fall back. I hit my head against the table, and felt dizzy as I stood up. Don't pass out. Not yet.

"Abandon ship!" someone yelled. "To the boats!" I guess that meant that the engine was damaged.

"Take him to a boat!" a man ordered, pointing to Spider, and a few people pushed him out the door. He glanced back at me, and I shook my head. They all had forgotten about me.

That means I could do something I wanted to do.

I blended myself with the crowd heading out of the door, walking in the same panicked movements as them, then headed deeper into the ship, finally finding the room I was looking for.

A few weeks earlier, I spied on Quaritch, and found him watching some people make copies of chips, putting them all in a tray. Those were copies of the chip I had. To make the sky people more invincible.

I had to destroy them.

I didn't know how at the time, but, at this moment, it's now or never. I picked up the tray, and dumped the chips on the floor. Then, I stomped on them until they were fully destroyed.

Then, I banged the tray against the copy machine, which was sitting beside the tray on a table in the center of the room.

After fully destroying it, I ran out of the room, coming up with ways to get off the ship without getting captured again. "This way." a voice said.

I looked behind me, and saw Garvin. Oh shit.

He walked over to a door, and...held it open? "Escape while you still have the chance." he said.

I walked over, confused. "Won't you be in trouble?" I asked.

He laughed. "They need me for research. Also, they can't prove that I did anything."

I walked out the door, then turned back. "I knew that you weren't so bad." I said. I actually wasn't too sure at first. He seemed to be more respectful for the Na'vi, but didn't stop Scoresby or Quaritch.

Now, I'm sure.

"Just go!" he yelled.

I turned and ran onto the deck. I didn't see Spider anywhere nor the Na'vi hostages. I guess they escaped.

Now, it's time for me to do the same.

I ran to the railing, and climbed onto it. And, without thinking a second thought, I jumped into the water.
