Infinite went back to their hideout. She didn't know what she should do. Finite was taken. He was being held captive. And then Infinite was threatened. If Infinite interferes with Professor Duren's plan, something bad might happen to Finite.
Professor Duren might've built a robot? Or a ray that could do something. Basically something that hr would need a lot of power.
Even thought she can track the Estroy Element through its slight radioactivity level. She knows that Professor Duren uses some material that would block off any detectors for things like heat, radioactivity, and electromagnetic forces. It would look as if it wasn't there.
And how is she supposed to explain to his parents that he's not coming home yet? They don't know about this! No one else knows other than them themselves. They didn't tell anyone. Their lives are at stake if they know. Villains these days do anything they can just to achieve what they want to do in life.
It could lead to millions of deaths around the world! They wouldn't care. As long as their dreams or whatever is achieved.
Another problem is that what if they were told to stop because it was too dangerous. They could get hurt or something.
This is why being a hero at age 14 and also not telling your parents about it was a very bad idea.
We've been doing it for a year now. And this never happened before. Well it has. But Infinite was always able to find Finite through the tracker embedded into his suit. But she guessed the villain finally got smarter and thought about disabling the tracker. Good for him. But not for us.
She decided to still check if what was written on the letter was actually true. Because Ron could have left that note as a prank. Ron is a bit of a jokester sometimes. But she remembered that Finite never jokes around while on hero duty. Infinite isn't sure. But she has to check.
She opened the super computer and inputed the passcode.
'InFinite1413'
"Access Granted" the feminine robot voice of the computer spoke as she entered the passcode.
Finite would've said something like, "Why did we make it a girl's voice again? It would be so much better if we settled with a normal robot voice. I think?"
She was usually annoyed by his obnoxious jokes. But now that he's missing. She misses it. It was pure silence. It was too silent.
Which didn't sit right with her.
She tapped the button that would call Finite's communicater. No one else knows, but they have the best tracing technology. They'll get it's location immediately if they answered the call.
It rung of a few seconds. She waited anxiously for a response. Just when she was feeling that there was no hope. Someone answered...

Deep underground in the Phantom Forest. Lies 10 feet metal-titanium barrier around a certain evil scientist's hideout.
The certain person named Professor Duren had successful kidnapped Finite once again. But after learning from his mistakes. He had achieved a perfect plan to do this successfully.
He has the vigilante inside a pod. He was still unconscious from the drug and from getting hit on the head.
He wasn't going down with a sleeping dart. Another hit would've done it. So the did. They hit him again. And he was knocked out.
Infinite should be greatfull that the great Professor Duren had left a note indicating that he has taken her little sidekick.
Suddenly. He heard someone was banging on glass.
