11) Sinclair's big Suprise

I pulled down my burgundy bodycon skirt, before adjusting the matching halter top, i sat down in my chair.

I was currently in the very elegant, and expensive Asian Cuisine resturant called Budhakkån Shun, accompanied by Sinclair's close family, and friends, including Marcus, her fiancee's close relatives.

It was Sinclair's birthday, and Marcus decided to do something big for the love of his life. Tonight he was gonna propose to her. Everyone but Sinclair knows which i think is so cute.

Across the large table, I watched as he whispered something into her ear, causing her to blush and giggle. Knowing Marcus it was prabably something sexual, and inappropriate.

Bobbi tapped me, "Aren't they just cute?" she aksed as she admirably eyed them across the table.

Watching them across the table practically eating each others face off, made me notice that the chair right to me was empty.

He was late.

I took my phone out of my black clutch, seeing that it was 9:33. I sighed seeing no missed calls from him, before sliding my phone back in my purse.

As if on cue i felt a kiss being placed on my neck. I blushed smelling that oh so familiar cologne. "Sorry I'm late, babe" a deep voice whispered into my ear. "I'll make it up to you" i smirked at his words.

His warm breathe left my ear.

"Happy Birthday Sinclair!" he said walking over to her. She stood up adjusting her beautiful red dress, giving him a big hug.

"Thank you so much Devin" she smiles, "and thank you for coming". He then pulled a Versace gift bag from behind his back, handing it to her.

"You shouldnt have!" she gasped looking at her gift then giving him another hug. He gave Marcus a manly handshake before greeting everyone, then taking his seat next to me.

"You have a lot of explaining to do Mr. Madden" i whispered to him, as waiters brought out our appetizers which was an Asian noodle soup containing spaghetti noodles, shrimp, mushrooms, red bell peppers, and green and white beans.

For the past 3 months Devin, and i have been getting to know each other a lot better. Not only is the sex mind blowing, and enticing, we found that we have a lot in common, and like a lot of the same things.

After finishing up our appetizers, and main meal which was seasoned, and steamed lobster claws, grilled shrimp, and seasoned clams, we sang Happy Birthday to Sin.

Finally Marcus stood. "This past year and a half that ive spend with you has been the most happiest moments of my life" he said smiling down at Sin.

"Every King needs his Queen and i guess you can say I found my perfect match. Bedsides the fact that you're one hell of a cook, and exceptional in bed, you're also sweet, and caring, and bring out the absolute best in me" he got on one knee, and i swear the whole Los Angeles heard Sin's scream.

"There is no one else I'd rather spend my life with" he pulled out the ring box, "Sinclair Washington, will you marry me?". I've never heard so many yes's in my life.

After kissing Marcus, and hugging her mom, Marcus's mom, and their family, she came over to me, and Bobbi, showing us the ring.

"Wow! Thats a big rock!" Bobbi said looking at her finger. She smiled holding it to her heart. "I know".

After socializing, with each side of the family, and enjoying a few glasses of wine, it was finally time to go.

Since I got a ride from Bobbi here, Devin was going to take us back to his place. "Wait right here, until i get the car" Devin said in my ear while caressing my lower back. He kissed my cheek before walking away leaving me infront of the restaurant with a few others.
