Saanvi's POV
I am at the same bar where I was last week. I saw Olivia there. She was with a couple of men drinking. I saw the men touching her and she was letting them. It looked like she had enough of drinks. She got up from her chair and lost her balance, but the men didn't let her fall. Both the men got up from their chairs and took Olivia out. I felt something fishy so I also got out to look for them. "Don't worry honey, we will not leave you like you wife." One of the men said.
Before they could take her to their car, I hurried to them and said, "Hey Ol! There you are honey. I know I was supposed to be here early. I am sorry for being late, I thought you would have already left, I was looking for you. How much you drank? Thanks guys, for taking care of my wife, I 'll take it from here." I said and walked with her to my car. All of them were looking at me dumbfounded. I don't know what got into me and I did that. I quickly start the car and drove from there.
"Did you just call me your wife in front of them?" said Olivia. "Since you are drunk, I didn't have any option. What were you doing with them?" I said little agitated by her actions. "I was having drinks with them." She said. "Since when does drinking means touching and that too from men when you are a lesbian." I said a little harsher.
"We were doing favor to each other. Since I didn't have any money to pay for my drinks and besides, why do you care? Were you following me?" she said. "I am not following you. The bar is nice, that's why I came here." I said. "It's not the only bar honey. Accept it that you like me." she said. "Where do you live? I will drop you." I said. "I was kicked out a couple of days back, so I don't have a space to stay." She said and that made me felt bad for her, suddenly all the anger was turned into worry. Why I am like this with her?
With no option, I took her again to my place. Like last night she was already asleep. I woke up next morning, made breakfast and then went to get freshen up. When I came back, I saw Olivia awake, it looked like she had taken the medicine, I had kept in the tray.
Olivia's POV
Olivia: You? Again? Ho much was I drunk las night. (I said while pressing my head due to headache.)
Saanvi: Drunk enough to go with a couple of men.
Olivia: Shit. I need to get fresh. (I said and walked to the bathroom.)
After getting fresh, I came out with a towel wrapped around my naked body, I looked for my duffle bag, but I couldn't find it.
Olivia: Where's my bag? (She turned around to look at me and just kept looking at me up and down.)
Saanvi: You didn't have any bag with you last night.
Olivia: I must have left it in the bar.
Saanvi: Anything important in the bag?
Olivia: Just my clothes. What should I wear now?
Saanvi: You can grab something of mine from the closet and later we can go and get your bag.
Olivia: You sure about it?
Saanvi: When I can bring a stranger at my place, I can definitely lend her my clothes. Wait, I'll bring you something to wear.
Saying this she walked towards her closet and came back with a black colored long t-shirt and a pair of undergarments.
"You can wear these; they will fit you." She said. "Thanks." I said and walked in the bathroom to get dressed. I came back and was looking like this.
The clothes were comfortable for me and I was looking nice. I saw Saanvi sitting on a chair and having breakfast. There was another plate kept aside. I guess it was for me, so I went and took a seat and started eating. "Thanks for taking care of me, even though I was not nice to you. I am really thankful." I said. "I don't want your thanks, but if you really feel like that, tell me everything about yourself." She said.
I looked at her for a minute, took a deep breath and said, "Since you have taken care of me from last couple of days, it's fair enough to tell you about myself." I said.
My name is Olivia Matt. I am 27 Years old, born in Pleasanton, a small town in Kansas City. I am the 3rd child of my parents among the 4 children. I had my education from Pleasanton and got a diploma in Sales & Marketing. For work, I moved to Kansas City and started working as a Marketing Executive for a Real Estate Organization. Work was good, commission was good. I came out gay when I was 18 and it was not taken well by my family. They just disowned me. I have dated lot of women in my life before I met her, Samantha, my wife.
I met her at a workshop, where she was working for the event management company. We dated for a month and then I proposed her and got married. It wasn't attended by my family as they had broken all ties with me, while her father attended it.
Our marriage was very good for initial few months, but apparently, I was a nagging wife for her and one day she just told me that she is leaving me. For a week I almost didn't realize what had happened and now It has been 4 months since she has gone. I met her father a week after and he said that she was not there and blamed me for her disappearance. Since then, I have not been able to do anything.
I have lost my job, all my savings are gone, I was kicked out of my house a few days back, so I have been moving all day and spending my night in the bar and then sleeping at a public bench.
I told her everything and had tears in my eyes. "Hey! You, okay?" she said with concerned face and I wiped my tears. "I am sorry for what happened. My story isn't different from yours. At least your wife told you face to face that she is leaving, mine left with a note to never come looking for me." She said and I felt bad for her. Then she told me everything about what, when, how and I felt a connection with her.
